Depends on Ledley really. And whether we sign a CB. We'll have enough games for Gallas Dawson and Kaboul between them to be playing regularly.

We won't be selling kaboul...he has everything to be a top player..

Regards him being as good as ledley....that would mean when fit kaboul would be the best defender in the world...

That's not gonna happen but kaboom will be a very, very good player

I know, Ledley really is impervious.

Such a pitty his injury record has totally decimated what could of been.

You couldn't blame Kaboul for being interested though. If Redknapp keeps picking Dawson ahead of him, he'll be off.

I agree and it's a big worry for me. Some people seem to be oblivious to the fact that Kaboul is 25.

Yeah but he has only really started to mature as a defender in the last couple of seasons, he got by on his physical gifts for a while, now he is starting to learn the game a bit.

We won't sell Kaboul? We've sold Kaboul. And if someone offers silly money, we're going to take the money on a squad player.

A serious question. How long more do you think he should be content to remain behind Daws in the pecking order and filling in at right back?

I think you mean imperious, because ironically throughout his career King has proven to be pervious, very pervious.

Its up to him to put in consistent performances. Dawson, despite what BC believes, has been a consistent performer now for a number of years and is a senior player in the squad. The Ledley situation does create a strange dynamic amongst our CBs though.

Consistently what though ?

25 is young for a CB. Lets give an example of another "young" CB many people are raving about being the next big thing. Gary Cahill also 25.

Who is playing regular first team football. Isn't that the point JH is making ?

To tell you the truth, danielneeds, I think it's a travesty that Dawson is above Kaboul in the pecking order.

Dawson is very over rated, we can definitely improve on him.

I also think Kaboul is a much better player than him.
