For the right player, we can - and may - meet that price. What we can't do is, like City, buy three or four players at that amount or much higher, or compete when the price goes far above that.

Curious still though about RB? No ITK about Sissoko being sold or loaned. Could he be our new RWB in back five with Trippier/KWP as main guy in back four? Poch is not afraid to experiment with new positions.

If we can get Sanchez over the line, it will be a huge coup for us and a big statement of intent. If we can't cherry pick from the established stars, then we need to keep trying to identify those who will be stars of the future.

I'd also imagine that will signal the end of Wimmer's time at the club. Will be a shame to see him leave, but he deserves playing time and he simply isn't getting it at Spurs.
