Think about it this way: where did the Sun get the original story? Rose. Whose interests is it in for people to think other players agree with him? Rose. Either he or his agent has told the Sun about the heroes welcome, so it cannot be trusted.

It feels more and more like the Barkley deal will be done soon. Thats a good addition.

The Davison Sanchez story has been "kind of" corroborated by a JJ smiley so seems like that one has some legs. Adding him would be a very good signing IMO. Massive future ahead of him, looks a real talent.

Trix has alluded to possible renewed interest in Mahrez which suggests that we're now looking at an alternative to Balde - assuming that one is still dead in the water.

We also know from previous ITK that right back is an area we intend to strengthen so my personal view is that we will certainly add at least 4 new players at RB, CB, CAM and WF.

In addition we're likely to add a 3rd GK and I think there could also be a late (i.e. deadline day) move for a 3rd striker option as that has also been suggested by ITK's in the past.

If we manage all of that, which doesn't seem too far fetched, then I'll be a happy man.

Love getting optimistic ratings, I'd rather be optimistic than a negative, moaning old fucker like a lot of our fanbase

The interview and timing were deliberate and have in the eyes of many destabilised our club just before the season. Every man and his dog now is now talking about the club in a negative way and we now apparently have players queuing up to the leave the club. All because a disgruntled prick who signed a contract 10 months ago and said he wanted to finish his career at Spurs and was turning into a southerner and by the way hasn't played a game for the last 6 months is unhappy. Yes he is a member of the team, perhaps the is will change to was - who knows.

Realistically rose probably isn't capable of thinking about anyone else but himself. I doubt he destabilised the season deliberately, I just think he's so unbelievably self absorbed he is unaware of the world around him.

hertyid: Assuming my guy isn't lying to me, he certainly didn't receive a hero's welcome, the opposite in fact. I've seen no quotes from any player to support Rose. I don't expect any. Media just love jumping on a bandwagon.

Levy isn't going to get his cheque book out just because Danny Rose spouted off to the papers. Far more likely Rose is bollocked, used as squad player this year and sold next summer.

Rose decided to give an exclusive interview to The Sun. In return for this, the Sun try and back up Rose's cause by releasing a bullshit story the day after, trying to make him look like the hero. Absolutely no surprise that this has been shot down by Hertyid!
