If it's Juan then it's another promising prospect. Could turn out to be a good replacement for Wimmer who seems unhappy on the bench. I expect CCV will be ahead of him at least early on but having 2 young centre backs to add competition at the back can only be a good thing.

"Won't get a medal" = We've bid for Gary Medel but won't get him. He was the experienced South American then I imagine.

I was going to say the same thing- but every one seemed so adamant it had been solved I thought I must have got it wrong...

Winnered by Rob - so I guess this is the experienced South American and northern Italy player that a couple of ITKs have mentioned out the window.

Not sure what the first bit means in connection with Medel though. The boss works for a solution for John?

HY on COYS on Iheanacho

God the Sun is a useless pile of (poo emoji)

Edit: I guess that means we aren't going for him, which I think is a real shame. He's exactly the type of signing you'd think we'd like.

That is such a pity.... ticks all boxes

Jamie Rodriguez going to Bayern from Real according to TS on a two year loan.
What a fantastic deal .No transfer fee just wages for two years then presumably the option to buy.
What an inventive deal and one that I wish we could've thought of.
There will definitely be a sizeable loan fee involved, not just wages.

As for Foyth, I'm all for signing promising young players, just slightly concerned on how this will impact CCV?

I like Medel- looked tenacious and passionate and technically great for some of the inter games I saw last season but as a defensive mid are we not fairly strong in that position? Wanyama didn't miss many minutes last season?

Erm....no !! The South American and the Northern Italy are two different players, and the Northern Italy plays for Juventus. Do keep up.

You do realise that clubs have to pay loan fees?

Medel mostly plays cb these days doesn't he?

Very much in the mascherano mould. Not sure that translates to the premier league though

I'm sure it means Wimmer will leave so CCV will not really be impacted any more than last season. In fact I would say he has a better chance competing with another young centre back than he did with the more experienced Wimmer. It will be a big pre-season for CCV. Poch always gives new foreign signings time to settle so CCV will have a chance to make an impact early on like Winks did last season.

Any johns in northern Italy? Lol

You have Jonathan Biabiany who plays for Inter along with Medel... but i would be hugely surprised if he was of interest given his age, out put and previous medical problems. But it does fit the cryptic nicely lol

He played very well for Cardiff. Only player to do remotely well in their relegation campaign.
He is the perfect player to close the game & shut up shop
