Could also maybe be Cuadrado instead of Foyth?

John -> Juan
No medal -> Fourth -> Four -> Quad
Boss - Hugo Boss
Hugo Boss -> Makes expensive watches
Rado -> Makes expensive watches

Juan Quad Rado -> Juan Cuadrado

Either way none of the names mentioned are anything to get excited about. One's a youngster who's light years away from the 1st team and the other (Medel) is a cheap versatile squad player but doesn't cover the positions we're in need of. I doubt anyone barring Ben would turn up for the unveiling of either of these players (if we signed them).

Johnnie (Walker) Gold label...

Trying to find a way to offload Walker?

(edit, Seen all the Foyth stuff now)

Mine still fits though. :cautious:

I was going to go with the Johnny walker idea too and no medal = no glory, kelechi meaning glorify god - he won't be part of the deal?

Actually, John is a clear reference to the disciple of Jesus, John the Apostle, who wrote the fourth book in the new testament so he didn't get a medal from Jesus because Matthew, Mark and Luke finished their books first. Plus, we all know Poch has a history of signing Saints.

If it is this Juan Foyth kid, I am more than happy because it shows that we are making inroads in South America.

I for one think we have missed out on many a young talent over the years and with new developments in our scouting network, maybe we are starting to make up some ground on the likes of Porto, Benfica and so on.

Yeah I know what you mean, maybe our Argentinian connection can be exploited.

"The boss" is a reference to Bruce Springsteen who sang "One step up and two steps back" and also released the album "Darkness on the edge of town". Tottenham has always been situated on the outskirts of London. I'll leave the rest to the imagination.

Wouldn't say foyth is light years away .saw him in u20s and looks very composed.Id say he is a better footballer than Ccv who's has already featured in 1st xi.if we sign him and wimmer goes id expect him to be ahead of Ccv in pecking order.

Just to add as well he will be 20 in January ,I've a feeling he could be wimmers replacement.Bit risky but they must really rate him.if we spend £10m on him would be a bit odd to then spend another £20m on Mawson.

We must think Foyth is extremely talented for us to be going for him as he doesn't look to have the physique at all. He looks shorter and skinnier than Stones and he's not exactly the Hulk.

He's 19 and already well over 6ft...?!
