I don't critise [sic] every post. Just the really dumb ones.

So you pointed out that someone's international scoring record is poor. How perspicacious of you! You didn't stop to think, though, that what you pointed out was totally irrelevant.
How is it irrelevant to look at a players international scoring record when the said player plays in quite a poor league?? How is it dumb? little man.

the only thing i dont get is that Harry has publicly stated he wants Rossi and Adebayor but never stated he wanted Llorente - thats come solely from the ITKs. Maybe it was Levy who wanted Llorente the whole time and Harry wanted Adebayor the whole time- eventually it seems like Levy is the one to back down. I dont see anything concrete to prove that Harry changed his mind on Llorente

Wow someone with sense

As unnerving as it all may seem, there is clearly 2 sets of propaganda campaigns in full swing

But it wasn't until long after Suarez went to Liverpool that Redknapp admitted he'd changed his mind on him. And Ryan, you yourself said last night that Redknapp knocked back Huntelaar to sign Crouch, something which again Redknapp didn't say at the time.

What's more Dragon1 gave Levy as much stick in that latest bit as he did Redknapp. If there was an agenda it was pretty evenly shared out.

I don't believe - and didn't at the time - that Levy was running around spain on Jan31 with 35m in a suit case desperate trying to spend it, and I do believe that Levy may scupper the odd deal by trying to barter, but we also know that Redknapp - from him and you - has been hesitant and made a couple of very poor choices re transfer targets. He doesn't seem to grasp the ramifications for some of his choices or grasp the short termism and effect that can have on the stability of a club.

We've seen in the past how difficult it can be for chairman dealing with Redknapp, and this situation seems to be recurring. His every thought seems to be aired for public consumption and it is invariably everyone else's fault.

I don't disagree with many of his targets and I find it hard to believe that Redknapp is saying to Levy "yeah I like that Vucinic lad" then Levy is is spending 3 weeks negotiating and then Redknapp's saying "actually Dan, I fink I'd rather ave Adebayor". But that is kind of what appeared to happen with Suarez and maybe even Crouch, possibly VDV and Levy just decided not to fuck around anymore with VDV ? who knows.

Sounds like it will be Keane out, Adebayor in and in that order as well - anything concerning Daniels supposed visit to Portugal I will reserve judgement on.

I reckon that the discussions are pretty far along if Levy has flewn to Portugal. Can't see him going down there and start discussing from scratch. Hope it's just details to discuss and that we'll have a striker announced come monday!

Where did the Levy going to Portugal come from ?

Falcao is about 1 in 3 and cardoza is about 1 in 8.

tbf Cardozo doesn't start for his country so in terms of minutes of the pitch it might be interesting.

Also stats in so called worse league's can still help you judge a player. Some leagues, like Ligue 1 are quite low scoring, so if someone scores lots of goals, there must be something about them. A good player will not always score more goals in a bad league then they do in a good league. You simply have to compare the average of goals for a striker in that league and how the player compares to other players. Still then its no guarantee.

The Portuguese has an average of 2.43 goals a match last season, which means it is a low scoring league. Compared to the Premiership which had an unusually high average of 2.8 goals a game. So by no means is it an easy league to score in.

Cardozo's goal stats before this season where almost identical to Falcao's. With Cardozo scoring more against tougher opposition (a brace against Liverpool if you recall) only this season has Falcao had the edge, but Cardozo still finished with a great record.

To be fair i have never seen him play much, he must have something about him to have 100 goals in 160 games or close too. Im pretty sure there was itk a while back saying he wouldnt leave because of his children and there school. could be wrong. What i saw of falcao last season was all good tho. great finisher.

I swear if Levy offers Harry Falcao and Harry say he's not sure I am personally gonna slap the taste out of his sloppy chops.

Is there a transfer deadline in USA? there is a debate of having to have the Keane deal completed by today or Monday?

if Levy is off, safe to say that Ade is near enough to done and he is looking at our 2nd striker like a No 9

a tall and a smaller player to run off him could make sense, I dont think 2 talls like Ade and Llorente would work for us in a 442

just praying its true

and Wenger doesn't want Mata................interesting

I always thought in the yank league you could buy one player per team and pay them what you want. (ie: Beckham) and the rest was on a draft system. But could be wrong and prob am.
