I'm in Marseille, just met Basile Boli in my hotel. Such a cool guy (former champions league winner for those that don't know). Don't think this is ITK or supposed to go here so apologies in advance to admin, but the guy he was with is an agent and when he saw my spurs shirt we got chatting. He said he has heard (in his circles) we are going to spend a lot of money very soon. No names obviously but said 1 of them is a French player we are trying to get. Not sure if he meant French nationality or based in France. Did try and ask for more details but not willing to give. Here for another week so if I bump into them again will deffo ask again.

Are you sure he's not Levy's agent? Quite a few people are saying this, including Poch, but we still seem to be struggling to agree fees, let alone set up medicals.

My guess is peeps are mentioning fees as their own opinion. It's not always fees that break down a signing...although Levy's bean counting is legendary.
