I agree, and there are countless reasons as to why he ticks all our normal and future boxes.

The thing that makes me pause on it though is JJ saying 'big time straight in'. Pulisic is still only a kid, and the Bundesliga is a whole different kettle of fish to the EPL for someone so young. Poch wouldn't throw him straight in and expect an immediate impact. I have my thoughts on who it could possibly be, but as it's not been mentioned I won't speculate.

Unless they are talking about two different players (not seen that confirmed or not).

Yeh I've took JJ saying this time its not just his opinion as simply meaning it is Poch's/Levy's/The clubs opinion, that wont rule out Pulisic because it could be the club see him as a starter. I mean there are only very few players who you can say with confidence that could waltz into the first team, and the only one I can think who is possibly available this window is Sanchez, which isn't going to happen.

I really hope so. I've been told constantly by Woolwich fans how the new stadium will lead to an era of austerity like they went through. Now imagine if we start swinging a massive financial cock around because of it (between now and next season). The meltdown would be epic, and more importantly we may finally start to establish ourselves at the very top table

Not to digress or face the A&C stick but no parallels with us and Woolwich in terms of the stadium, the Base Rate being nearly zero means our interest cost is a pittance compared to theirs when base rate were 5%. Also we will get a much much better naming rights deal.

Really hope we get that someone special JJ and Hercules are intimating. Would love us to make a big statement and power our way past the competition into second. And then the wheels fall off at City as they see us coming.....

Well at the risk of playing hopscotch in a minefield Hercules and JJ's ITK suggests that we are looking at players rather than just a player. Therefore the commercial player alluded to by Hercules may be different from JJ's straight into the first team player. We are also told that our targets are players who we will definitely have heard of which given the phenomenal level of ignorance on here (no offense ) limits it to Ronaldo, Messi and someone currently playing in the premiership. I think we can safely rule out the first two . Hercules also alludes to a player who we would be surprised would choose us over other options.

One player who fits the bill and is apparently desperate to move and who we were linked with in the summer (ancient ITK from waaaayyy back in August ) and has recently been heavily linked with a move to Pool and the Arse, is Riyad Mahrez.

I had the same thought and I believe more recently an ITK mentioned that 'Poch kept in touch with his people'.
