I thought the general concensus/guess was that Hercules' info was more regarding sponsorship rather than a player as he said we had DONE good business. Whilst this may make sense holding back announcements on naming rights etc, it can't have been that we've agreed a signing and not announced it.

I said in the Malcom thread about not being surprised if we were looking at him as we seem to favour the French league recently and Hercules liked/winnered it if that means anything.

Are we assuming that JJ's info might refer to the same player that Herc is on about? Or am i ignoring the third rule of ITK club... Don't assume anything.

Wasn't Hercules info referring to something that had already been completed? JJ seems to be talking about targets which might happen.

Only they can answer that and only if they want or feel a need to so I always think it is best to treat them as separate. Combining them only makes them individually less meaningful when/if more info comes out because we become convinced they have to be linked.

JJ did say that the targets in the press are the press's targets and not necessarily ours.

I would hope that’s not the attitude of the club. If we miss out on top 4 it’s a massive set-back to our progress as a club.

No CL + No major trophies + Second tier wages = Very bad times.

The last two teams to win the Premier League did not seem to mind no CL football at the time (Chelsea and Leicester).

Nor Europa League, which we'd struggle to avoid as it'd take a massive collapse for us to finish lower than 7th (likely looking at the league cup and the amount of top 6 sides left in the FA Cup.).
