To the goats latest, the media kind of getting Levy at his own game. As requested, they never printed that "Dier would be sold", but that "ManUtd would bid". :p

Relax, there's a long way to go yet :D

When the window closes we'll either all be thrilled or, as has been more frequent over the past few years, get posts wishing all sorts of disasters on our pet munchkin with the usual standard BSoDL-isms of 'Do you want to do a Leeds' or 'The grass isn't always greener' and the all time classic 'be careful what you wish for'

Strap yourselves in and enjoy the ride and we'll have a laugh along the way.
Where's "remember how far we've come" :woot:

Kidding aside, there's ITK for you all. Enjoy!

PS: Your next cryptic won't be so easy.

So the press are towing the line again then...

It's hard not to be paranoid when they all seem against you lol

At the risk of being annoying, what was the answer to the cryptic? I couldn't get online over the weekend so missed it being solved.

So Pereira to replace Walker, Foyth to replace Wimmer and Barkley to replace Sissoko. The only one of those that's definitely an upgrade is Barkley to be honest. I don't see how that can be considered a particularly successful window; it more or less leaves us where we started.

I still think a quality, pacy attacking midfielder/forward is a necessity. We've previously had ITK on Lemar, but no one else we've had ITK on so far has had those attributes, apart from maybe Josh King, and I'm still of the opinion that he would be a pretty underwhelming signing.

Anybody could be an upgrade on Wimmer, so I'm pretty happy with that. One of Pereira and Trippier will go on to surpass the level of Walker from last season, so no real worries there either. And yes, Barkley would be an upgrade on Sissoko, but so would a blue and white cone be.

Good to hear that from the Goat.

All I can picture in my mind is Levy in his ivory tower seeing the press reports and saying "Donna, release the hounds" :D.

Lamela will hopefully be back.

If this Goat info on the press release is true, it just shows how Journos are no different in wanting to believe the sexier story. A cynical view is they run it just for the clicks. It would also explain why most Dier articles are qualified at the bottom that Spurs do not want to sell however.

Eh? What do you base that on? His extensive game time? We will never replace his quality for little money. Unless you think a big name will come to warm the bench, in that case you should watch LA LA Land again and feel right at home

Ivory? It's actually constructed from the finest tupperware-grade polypropylene Danny could find on Alibaba.
