'Play it again' Is this just indicating we're back in for a perviously mentioned player?

'Sam' could be an American

2+2 to get 5 - Pulisic?

Casablanca means White House in Spanish, Real Madrid are known as low blancos.

Play it again, play for the same team again.

Bale. :cautious:
Wydad Casablanca were managed by John Toshack who made Bale the youngest ever Welsh international. Nope, I don't think the cryptic has anything whatsoever to do with Bale but let's link him up for the feelgood factor anyway! ;)

Goetze??

Bear with me here...
"It'S A Me, Mario" is his famous line from the games.
Play It Again could be referring to the addictiveness of all the Super Mrio games (especially Mario Kart)

Barb Wire was a shitty alternative remake of Casablanca, featuring Pamela Anderson... she is shacked up with some Marseille/France player...

So the main character is "Allan", also the name of the Brazilian CM from Napoli. But it's never that simple.
Allan means “way out/exit” in Welsh. Not that I’m Welsh, but I am Allan. Got a photo from when I was younger standing behind a sign with both Welsh and English words.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Pulisic. Apart from the Uncle Sam reference, Casablanca is also about an American abroad.

There’s Hakim Ziyech, who is from Morocco and plays for our favourite shop, Ajax as a number 10...
We obviously are trying to get Grealish so how many number 10s do we want? Ziyech would make no sense and it's far too simple to fit the cryptic.
