The Manchester Orchestra song is basically “you’ve been forgiven, come back to me”.

Soooo Bale obviously. Done and dusted.

Grealish page 76, hi everyone!
Sam Johnstone perhaps? Was on loan at Villa last season from Man United, two clubs we are reportedly in negotiations with.

My guess is we get Johnstone in from United as part of any Toby or/and Martial deal(s). We then loan them Johnstone as part of any deal for Jack Grealish.

Play it again, Sam = play at Villa on loan for another year. He was linked with us in April, and with Vorm signing for another year, he could be his potential successor when the loan is up. He’d be getting a full season under his belt in the meantime.

Just a possibility I suppose.

TBH that would sound more like Modric, I don't think Bale needs forgiveness, Modric does really after wanting to join Chelsea. But yeah the answer is Bale.

Can someone tell me how they get Pulisic from The Goat's cryptic? Plus it has to be Bale.

I also have my doubts that The Goat knows who Manchester Orchestra is, let alone knowing a deep cut like that.

So it’s probably movie related.

@saxonspur

I'm 62.5 years old, been on here 13 years come December

I've noticed you've been on here since my 51st birthday- a mere 11.5 years or so, With one post so far.

I'm beginning to love this forum interaction thing, I don't even mind disagree ratings anymore, just astonished that someone who has made one post after all this time can disagree about a statement of personal belief.

Join in ffs. Don't be shy. I don't bite (well apart from a bad dream I had last week when the Mrs got chewed)

In Casablanca, Sam was played by Dooley Wilson.

So "play it again Wilson"? Are we signing a Wilson Palacios type of player?

Hercules mentioned in the Wilmar Barrios thread that he reminds him of Palacios.

I am assuming we already guessed "Casablanca" = House of White = Real Madrid = Bale.

But, the line is not in Casablanca - so I hope that is not it. The Manchester Orchestra lead seems more promising.

Pulisic is obviously "White House" so that is a tenuous lead, but Dortmund seems to be pushing Gotze out the door, so I assume they want to keep Pulisic - but everything has gone strangely quiet on his whole story.

To me 'play it again' is saying only 'start again from where you left off'

This (miss-quoted) line, and the song that's requested, links 3 characters, Rick Ilsa and Sam, who all 1st met in another country Paris. Rick and Sam have been in Casablanca for some time when Ilsa suddenly turns up unexpectedly, leading to the other much quoted line ..."Of all the gin joints in all the world" etc. So is it possible that Rabiot (Ilsa) may be turning up unexpectedly from Paris to join Aurier and Moura ("Rick' and "Sam") who all played together at PSG?
