As promised yesterday I spoke to my contact to find out why he has flown to Portugal.

You'll be pleased to know it's NOT to Benfica, it is indeed to visit the Porto president. We will be making a bid for Falcao early next week.

When I asked my contact about Hulk, he just grinned, not sure if its a "yeah, we're bidding" or a "fook off" grin... I'll work on him over a game of golf tomorrow afternoon.

After last nights foot stamping tantrums from some of you regarding ITK I think its worth reinforcing the golden rule of this part of the site.

If you get personal/abusive or snidey toward ITK you'll lose your access to this part of SC without warning. We've relaxed several aspects of this thread but the rules regarding ITK abuse has been in place since we began and it isn't going to change.

Rossi's agent said a few weeks ago he wouldn't be sold so no big shock to that news. Its disappointing but there is still Falcao

crucial reason to complete deals for Diarra & Falcao ASAP.
Arsenal have soon sold both Nasri & Fabrecas & will have a lot of money to spend & they may bid for both Diarra & Falcao(as they looked so bad in attack yesterday at Newcastle)
