Yeah, God knows how we are going to replace all of Soldados goals

How do we replace Kane's goals when he's knackered or injured ? Do we have another centre forward on our books ? Someone who can hold the ball up and bring others into play? Just looking at our rivals it seems they all have more than one. How strange....

As frustrating as it is for us, I'm not so sure they do. The Woolwich lot haven't exactly been active buyers so I'd imagine they're having the same chat.

Thats probably to their advantage. This is the first season in forever where they havent had a transfer saga of a player leaving or actually need to buy someone (other than the keeper which they've sorted). The fact the current team of theirs is being tipped by many as potential title winners shows that they dont have too many gaps in their side (unfortunately). Another year together for them to gel etc and adapt to Wengers style will only improve them too.

If we get beat tomo is everything still ok and we remain optimistic ? Do we think if we start the season with two defeats that it has nothing to do with the fact we haven't got the correct players in ? Ie a defensive midfield and a forward player that takes the load off Kane? Thoughts please

I know it's still very much early days but I'll be very unimpressed if we don't win tomorrow. 0/1 point/s from the first 2 matches and probably only 1 first team signing at this point will leave be frustrated. I know we had a rough start to the 12/13 season too with 2 points from 3 matches and went to get a record total so a lot can change, but I will not be happy. We must get the right players in ASAP

This is business, how many times in this housing market do people each other. Yes if true it sucks the big one, but the deal isn't done until Stoof stamps it, ...I mean the OS announces it.

Hazard? 99% a Tottenham player I heard a French journalist say, and even saw an interview where he said himself he was practically a spurs player....that worked out well. Fucking Chelsea.

That fell through because we didn't qualify for the CL, so I don't see how that is relevant. Funny how meltdowns effect facts.

Arsenal are going into the season with one recognised striker - Giroud - who scored 14 last year. Kane scoed 21. Chadli was only three behind Giroud and he (Chaldi) also scored more than Welbeck and Walcott (Arsenal's back up) put together. As did Eriksen.

In fact I really don't get the panic about us signing another striker. How many teams have forwards that scored 21, 11 & 10 goals ?

Why've you ignored Sanchez? He played up front plenty of times.

It was said tongue in cheek as I find the whole thing hilarious. This is not a reference to the itk's but how comical anything to do with us signing a player plays out like a circus. A few comes to mind, Petit, Arshavin, Willian and whoever else I have forgotten.

So 3 maybe a 4th in 18 years.
