Add the above post to JJ's comments over the last week or so and I think there seems to be money to spend, and a willingness to spend it on quality.

Now I guess we'll have to see if we've got the nous to get these deals over the line!!

I’m not surprised that we’d be going back in for Sessegnon. He’s still only what, 18, 19? Clearly has bags of potential.

I don’t expect anything major to happen until after the final though. Hopefully we get some juicy itk about our plans etc. Or reassurance about certain people’s futures etc.

We don't need someone such as ndombele to drastically improve the centre of our midfield to be honest so that's not the worst news.

it's not just that. it's the fact that we're obviously very interested and was probably our top pick (or first reserve?) so would be nice once in a while to see our top targets get over the line.
