I no longer have access to Spurs ITK as have moved jobs some time ago, but I happened to have met Dmitri Payet on the weekend (work related). We spoke football - nothing of note for us here but he told me why he stayed at West Ham, about their new stadium (which I think is lame but didn't tell him that) and how he really likes the way we played last season - that it inspired the West Ham team to know that passion, fitness and coaching can help achieve good things (i.e. not just spending money).
So we're "teaching" West Ham to be a better team then? Poch out !!

we have something resembling itk from slim shany on ftl (20 000 posts): Christian eriksen news
Him and his girlfriend are very settled in london
Just bought a nice place in Hampstead
He says he will be signing a new contract soon
Source is My friend/neighbour who is friendly with Sabrina and Christian as they lived next to her parents in Hampstead when they first moved to london
She also teaches them Pilates and just started teaching Harry Kane and his girlfriend too
The media reports about Eriksen's contracts were, I think written in a manner implying he could leave simply to "make news". I'm fairly certain that established players will always negotiate terms and this happens to have been leaked to the press (perhaps by Spurs, perhaps by Eriksen's agent or someone close to the deal) for the purposes of negotiation rather than a threat to leave.

Not knowing much about what goes on behind the scenes means we are all reliant on media / ITK reports on the squad, but he always has looked very happy and settled at Spurs. I think as it stands, the squad probably feel they can achieve ambitions with Spurs, so it's great to read this.

You really don't want me to run a list off do you. To me Eriksen is a sweet 'n sour player.

Sorry this is going off topic. I won't post on this again but just to say he did mention that he loves Lloris and (no surprises) thinks he's the best GK in the world but also thinks Lloris plans to stay at Spurs. His exact words were "Hugo ne partira pas" or something like that.

(He's a very nice guy and does not look fat in real life, although did a bit on TV).

Just because one might be jewish doesnt mean they keep kosher.
In any case, Cheese and Ham, as mentioned, by another poster, does seem a bit extravagant. I'd imagine the sandwiches in question would contain a Cheese and Ham flavoured, paste-like substance, composed of flour, water and a lot of E numbers, which had never been anywhere near an animal with a cloven hoof (or udders, for that matter).

Blokes do pilates??! What a world we live in.

Jonathan Woodgate credited it with ending his interminable run of severe injuries.

A lot of other sportsmen incorporate it into a wider programme of conditioning.

I do a 90 minute session twice a week. Been doing it for 20 years.

Lol, do you think Poch has tried the cupboard under the stairs, I'm sure there are plenty to sign there! I had loads of subuteo figures in my cupboard :)
