Does this mean I have a bizarre search history witch confuses your add supplier or does it mean I am a closet homosexual who sleep searches international women to cover up my impending gay not sea sickness closetness ??

If the Wimmer rumours are true then we must have someone lined up as he is our back up and Fazio is clearly out in the cold. On a related matter any news on Jan's injury?

Darmesh Sheth on SSN Transfer Centre this evening said he 'understood' that Wimmer would not be allowed to move during this window

Where is this coming from?
Sky Germany there owner said they were in advanced talks however it may have to wait until the summer, I like what I see from wimmer and don't see the point of selling a player that is settling in and doing a decent job when called upon

Even if it happens in the summer I just don't get it, unless he's homesick and just wants out. He's been impressive so far and is our first choice reserve CB who is about to play a big part in our season.

Hope very much this is bullshit.

I have no idea where this has come from but up until now, Wimmer has been handled really well. He has been given time to bed in, has had some gametime in the cup competitions (although could argue he should have been given more there) and is hopefully now adjusted to the pace of things over here.

He has been unlucky in the sense that we have been really lucky thus far with our 1st choice pairing being so solid and consistent that he hasn't had a sniff yet. BUT he will be really important in the 2nd half of the season and with this season under his belt next year would be the time to kick on - see Ben Davies this season compared to last, Trippier (only starting to get regular starting games since xmas this year and he has been playing in this league), etc etc....

edit: moved my post to the wimmer thread, since not sure why it's being discussed here.

Has there ever been Itk on wimmer leaving? Or just media links?

In my humble opinion we have put a bit if time into Wimmer and he is still probabaly considered to be a work in progress.

I really cant see how we would sell him not that we are starting to see some of the benefits of the time and money we have invested in him.
