With Sissoko now out for a month, Son away for weeks and Kane out until March, our glaring squad inadequacies are suddenly laid bare.

Um are you suggesting the Club should have forseen the injury crisis to our entire midfield and bought CM quality at the level of Dier, Wanyama, Dembele and Sissoko before the season started?

How big do you expect the squad to be - and are you going to be the one to tell Poch his preferred smaller squad is to be fucked off because you have a crystal ball?

We're having this exact debate in the Injury Updates thread in Spurs Chat, which is a more appropriate place for it considering we haven't had any recent ITK on squad size, etc.

I'm probably on your side of the fence in that no team is prepared for a 4 midfielders injured saga however Wanyama and Dembele were both known to have long standing injury issues. We were between a rock and a hard place though because we weren't getting offers and we couldn't leave players of that calibre out so we couldn't sign anybody else with the exception of Grealish due to HG saga. However most of the fan base weren't too keen on Grealish and wanted a top midfielder. It still stands though this meant we should have seen a scenario where we would only have Dier and Winks as our midfield options as Sissoko wasn't being used in that manner before this season really and the club should have forseen that overplaying 2 midfielders if we want to compete on 4 fronts would be a huge risk to take especially as Winks himself has come back from 2 injury plagued seasons.

Personally I'd have never renewed Vorm due to the HG issue and kept that spot free knowing we couldn't rely on Wanyama and Dembele and might not be able to ship them out, said as much in the summer but I do feel it's taken a lot of bad luck to get to this point.

I really hope some of these potential deals start moving quickly.
Along with Eriksen, they’ve been our best players this year,

Hate to pin prick the goats bubble but unless Pochettino likes to have several homes at once, Pochettino bought the house he was renting, a Hadley Wood mansion, in summer 2017. I know this because I know the family he bought it from very very well, they are a wealthy Cypriot family who run an international shipping company.

Pochettino has negotiated a fantastic loan with a robust pay back scheme.

Unfortunately for the Pochettinos, they will not be able to buy groceries for a number of years and will have to rely on the homegrown sustenance developed in their back garden.
