Rossi must be yellow.

He was still mentioned to me today. Its not over by a long shot

And even if we pay a loan fee for Adebayor we won't have touched our transfer budget as we've brought in money through the sales of Keane & O'Hara.

So ..

B C , Is it right that you owe £100 quid to SC when Ade is announced ?

It is. And I will pay with a smile.

Ryan,

Next time you're talking with Redknapp would it be possible for you see if you could glean what style/formation he envisages us playing next year. I'm genuinely interested what plans he has for us in terms of formation and how he plans to play

I didn't put Rossi in my pledge because there's no way it will happen, whether we want h or not

Even if it was the truth from Jamie (which is 50/50), then we'll have someone comparable to or better than Ruiz lined up...for all we know the Ruiz talk was to force something else or we could sign him or any other numbers of possibilities. Adebayor is a great start, if we see him anywhere near his best, he'll score bucketloads IMO.

So quick to jump on HR and all this Levy/Redknapp conjecture-filled 'ITK' is beginning to piss me off along with the agendas on here which I really cannot comprehend (Hi Dan). Still not enough ins yet so I'll give 'Team Levy' a bit of leeway and will be donating to SC.

Agreed. We were defo after Mata so we must be looking for a similar type of player. No doubt there is a list of names for this ' goals from the side ' player. Who's on it?

Mata
Ruiz
Young
Affelay
Farfan

amongst others would be my educated guess (not necessarily in that order). Young's gone and Mata ain't interested it seems but it makes sense with Bentley and Gio on the way out. Maybe they want a false winger like Young because you then have cover for both flanks potentially.

If we do sign someone of this ilk then it may well signal the end of Niko too...

Accoreing to spanish press tonight, Osvaldo has signed for At Madrid for 17m euros and Falcao could be announced tomorrow for 25m plus 7 on addons.
Im sure we could have offered that to Porto, looks like a bargain to me, why would he want to go there?

Me too...though I don't think Ryan has direct contact with the tax dodger.

Obviously the formation will change depending on opponents and availability of players, but I'd love to know if Harry would consider the 4-2-3-1 formation that many have discussed.

what makes you say we haven't gone for him. you have absolutely no idea whatsoever. no clue. just because we didnt buy him doesnt mean that we didnt go for him. atletico madrid can pay much much higher wages than us (which is why they had forlan and aguero on their books), and they are in spain, which is just as good a league as ours, in a team that quite frankly has been much more successful than ours over the last 20 years, and in a spanish speaking country with less tax.

if you dont know, dont make it up.

EDIT - that was to 13VanDerBale's comment.

Money and for somebody from the Spanish speaking World or maybe just the regular World it's a bigger club than Tottenham.

1. We couldn't have matched that as Citeh paid for Augero up front so Atletico had the cash ready to go in their account. We pay all our fees in leveraged installments.
2. He will go there because he knows one good season in Spain and Real will come knocking

and what makes you think we did go in for him, this is certainly a player in our price range and wage range and im pretty sure we are able to compete with atheltico madrid. the fact is porto havent come out and rejected a bid from us have they? no itk have suggested recently that we have put in a bid? you are over hyping them and making us sound like stoke compared to them.

This blows Mystery's ITK out of the water if true.
Wonder why he has decided to stop the info sharing - was his source mocking him (and us)?

nothing makes me think that we did bid for him.

your statement/question - why on earth did we not bid for him? i do not understand levy sometimes insinuates that we did NOT bid for him, and that it's ludicrous that we didnt. This is what's known as a leading question. Leading questions are quasi-rhetorical, that have a presupposed answer. You're answer is built on nothing. You have absolutely no facts, and yet your leading question suggests otherwise.

It's not "I do not get levy sometimes" or "why on earth did we not bid for him" because you have NO CLUE whether we did or not. He recently signed a new contract, atletico, who already paid extortionate wages for other players just got the aguero money, and falcao, would probably be demanding HIGH wages which we can't afford.

To which you say, "now explain it to me like I'm the bastard child of Zonal Marking's Cox and Jonathan Wilson"

I expect it to be 200 pages single spaced and I will be grading grammar
