Apparently his Mrs offered her unwanted opinion on the club too…..

That is disappointing, but also is the sort of vibe I get from her. If you followed Toby on social media, some of his posts about his personal life it come across like his relationship is has more of a "team" dynamic and less like a couple something similar to Tom Cruises Oblivion.

This might link to the being brave comment. Buy before we sell

Is it possible we may have made a bit too much of "being brave" this window? Or perhaps it really will be the defining comment of this window? It's just that other than the Kane contract (which IS massive) it seems misaligned with our window thus far.

Oh dear, one starts to suspect that Toby is rather weak off the field. Allowing his father and his wife to interfere is pretty telling in respect of his character. He needs to decide for himself what it is he really wants rather than be someone's puppet.
Not sure I agree entirely with that. For one, we don't know what she said. His wife and family should always come before football or any club. She has more right than anyone to voice an opinion, especially if it involves where they live or any number of concerns she might have. His dad, not so much.

So are you saying Toby and Shani van Mieghem aren't an effective team? :nailbiting:

The “Being Brave” soundbite alludes to having the gonads to wear the 18/19 home shirt out on the field.

Really all depends on what the meaning of being brave is. I could argue for multiple definitions.

De Ligt due to being 18 would count as an underage player in our Champions League quota until he is 21, and then be classified as a home trained player as he will be have training with us for 3 years between the age of 15-21.

You should probably move this to the De Ligt thread in Transfer Rumours before people go bonkers mate.

The Daily ITK Thread is intended to just discuss that day’s ITK snippets, although it does get dragged all over the place fairly frequently.

JJ has just Tweeted that we need to sell players first.

Can someone copy the Tweet
Rules changed this window or last (not sure which) to no twitter from anyone, including JJ I gather, since people couldn't handle the rule being any more complicated than a flat no.
