While MS may have other offers in, the fact we have Poch has got to count in our favour with him (IMO he played better last season than this one). However, this presumably counts against us when negotiating with SCBC - as they don't want him to come to us. That might be why the ITKs haven't given up on him just yet.

Really you wouldn't think about wages and prestige? Or the fact that you may have been 3rd choice but once signed you would be first choice this is all assuming you knew you were third choice in the first place as if I were Levy about to sign player 3 I would say it was press speculation they were after anyone else.

I know it's not pitched like that but I mean we are looking at schneiderlin first it seems then Kramer then imbula, what happens when we chase first targets and get strung along and second and third targets fuck off elsewhere? We are down to 4th and 5th choices then like strambouli last season who never gets played !!
