The "less than favourable feedback" bit is a tad worrying. I refuse to believe he's been that bad. If he has then it looks more like curtains for him rather than walker.

I wonder who the senior players were? Hugo is the only 1 we got isn't he.

Senior meaning first team vs. youth

There's a big difference between events which are found in carcinogenesis and events that cause carcinogenesis. In addition the report itself states that the process is reversible and is indistinguishable from the control after 48 hrs. While everything carries some element of risk you are less at risk from the same time spent in a MRI machine than you would be outside in moderate sunshine.

So now you instead say there is risk, but greater risk in nature, sigh.

Sulphate cholesterol and the 'prohormone called a vitamin' disagree strongly with the last sentence, you are maybe at more risk from not ensuring good outside exposure in moderate sunshine... your antithesis on this point, cause you're wrong 'n stuff.

I did think that. Guess it could be anyone really. They might even be senior players who aren't really listened to (Ade/Kaboul)

Why would anyone take those dopes opinions' on anything? oh unless I need some insight on juju or how a huge injury can screw up my entire career

Actually, you're wrong, but this isn't the place for it.

Fatpiranha wins, you lose. It is ordained, and this conversation is over.

Now then, let's have some ITK on wingers. Rapid ones, preferably.

WOuldn't Richards cover for Vlaar, iirc he's left, and RB still be needed?

With the ITK that Trippier is close to signing for us it's no wonder that we've heard that Richards has now signed for Aston Villa. He can play both in the middle and on the right. Villa are well stocked in both positions so not sure who will lose his place. On the right would be Hutton and Bacuna so don't think there's room for both Richards and Walker as well.

Hasn't ITK said that Trippier is to have a medical with Spurs today? Any news on that? Trix? JJ?

Multiple reputable sources are reporting that he has completed his medical. Don't think we need ITK to confirm it.

Two quick things ftom ITK

Firstly, I think the air of caution surrounding Yedlin is based solely on his nationality. There's an underbelly of snobbery to suggest he wont improve us. Ive just seen a US team BEAT Holland and world champions Germany in their own back yard. They looked excellent, and they are excited about Yedlin. I think he will play a substantial role this season.

Secondly Im optimistic because we seemingly dont want Cabaye. That says to me that we EXPECT to sign Scneidrlin, kramer, bender or Imbula.

Id be happy with that

Interesting observations.

1 - Frankly, even some of Yedlin's own compatriots don't think he's quite ready, myself included. Maybe he'll kick it into gear this preseason, but for now I think if Norwich are seriously offering an EPL loan, that's very tough to turn down while Walker and Trippier are at the club. So while I do think you're probably right there is some remnant sentiment against American players and the current association with market purchases involved, I don't think objectivity is entirely devoid here in not rating him fully.

2 - Fair point. I do hope you're right.

Hertyid suggesting Walker could be on his way out. Could always offer him as part exchange for Schneiderlin with Clyne possibly on his way to United (I don't think this will happen but it's fun to pretend real life is football manager)

I think we don't want Cabaye because he doesn't fit, so he's 28-29? I personally don't mind that, I think experience is important but I get the impression Poch is very focused on bringing in young players with potential and that's something that Levy enjoys too. I can't see us signing Kramer, not even a hope from me. Just feel champions league will keep it at Bayer and if not then another champions league team will sign him. As for Bender, maybe, but if we did then would that be a good thing? Isn't he very injury prone and would effectively be Sandro? A good player but constantly crocked and can't always be relied on as a result. As for Imbula, I think it's down to us. I think he's ours if we want him but we're weighing up other options first. Maybe the above options, and if that's the case then I think we'll end up with Imbula. Not seen him play so can't say if I'm happy with that or not but I do feel he ticks the boxes for a young, promising (so I hear) player that Levy and Poch would like to see here

Southampton are already close to signing the Clyne replacement.

I mentioned this is the player thread too, but suddenly struck me that we can't keep Imbula hanging on as a plan B or plan C choice, because Marseille have to sell him before the end of the month to meet DNCG financial rules. So we either go for him now, or we don't at all, he can't be a deadline day signing when the other options say no.
