If it is to be CCV, I'm quite surprised by that. It doesn't look as if he will get much if any game time at Spurs next season and hasn't ever impressed when he has played

Had a great second half of season with a club who were in a bad way, having had a struggle first half season with a different club. Pochettino likes such shows of mental fortitude.

Dude, can you change the link on the front page so clicking the banner image in this post takes you to the thread, rather than the image, please? Confused the bejesus out of me, for I am a simple creature.

Funny that both CCV and KWP are only 3 year contracts, while DS is a new 6 year contract. I wouldn't expect to see CCV become a regular for us, whereas KWP seems much more likely. Relatively early announcement, so excited to see what follows later in the day.

KWP and ccv have to prove themselves first, it happened with winks before he was in the first eleven each week, then he got given a 5 year deal.

Sanchez already had 5 years left on his current one though so they only added the extra year on top plus he cost £40m

DS cost £42m, much value in keeping him tied to a long contract. Also for accounting purposes we can revalue etc over a longer contract.

CCV/KWP are freebies and yet to establish into first team.
