Dragon said that we were meeting with City officials tonights to complete the deal, whats that got to do with problems with the paper work lodged with the Premier League awaiting approval.....which is what this guy is saying?

They're two totally different things or explanations....
Oh right, i only just read the RO. I took it the 2 were saying the same problem. As others were saying it was gonna be made official tonight. My bad. Still, pinch of salt till on the OS.

as always its at your discretion as to how much salt you use for varying info...

Dragon 1 is a long standing ITK with a record to back up his info.

I don't really see the point of signing someone like Kaka/Eriksen because were are they going to play? VDV owns the role behind the striker and Modric, Sandro/Diarra will be the centre mids.

Surely Kaka/Eriksen wouldn't be happy being a squad player?

Before someone says they can play instead of Lennon - neither of them are wingers and will bugger up our balance.

Hopefully the mystery player is a centre back or striker.

I'm not taking the piss TEESIDE1, but I think the fact that you even said the words "surely Kaka wouldn't be happy being a squad player" sums up how nuts this transfer window really is.

Couldn't agree more. To suggest he would even consider joining us is stretching the limits of my imagination. That we could afford his wages/transfer fee is beyond my ken. Him not getting a starting place is :duh:

If he does leave R Madrid it will be for one of the top teams in the world, Utd, Chelsea, Bayern, AC. City would offer him £200k a week. We have 0% chance and that's only if he likes London.

It's not 'unthinkable' to suggest he'd be a squad player.

Modric, Sandro, Bale, VDV are dead certs unless your suggesting one of them should be dropped???

That leaves 1 midfield berth (Lennon) ... as I said, neither of the players are wide players .... look at VDV when he was supposed to play on the right wing last season ... he kept wandering off, leaving Corluka vulnerable and the balance of the team lop-sided.

For Kaka? World Player of the year and Ballon d'Or 2007? Any of them would be dropped in a heartbeat and our whole team would be built around him. You are talking a true Galactico, one of the iconic players of his generation. Modric can only score 2 goals a season ffs, yes he's good but not on that level.

I don't even know why I'm bothering posting this, but you quite obviously don't have to drop Bale, VDV, Sandro or Modric.
------------Ade-----------
Bale------Kaka------VDV
--Modric------Sandro
BAE-King-Dawson-Corluka

Sandro playing deeper than Modric. You stress to VDV how much he is needed on defense, and that is a title winning team. Jesus that is the best attacking group this side of spain. That five person midfield is maybe 3rd best in the world. Of course there is absolutely no way Kaka would come to us.

it's definitely eto'o, who else can it possibly be? we're gonna sign eto'o lads, get excited!!!

oh and kaka wouldn't make our team. There's just no space for him in our midfield.

and I'm on crack.
