Good morning ITkers. Or should that be, fuck it, theres no ITK so we'll spam the thread to deathers?

Oh and congratulations to Japan, winners of the Womens World Cup.........catching the USA by surprise since 7th December 1941

There was very little ITK over the weekend and none yesterday so we haven't much to go on.

On Saturday JTG, in a rare post said this regarding Pav......

Mind you, with a track record similar to Eddie the Eagles, i'm not holding my breath..........

Then, on a new striker we had

In advanced talks with another striker tho..we are very close to having a new striker...
When asked, CM said he couldn't give a name because his source hadn't given it to him. This can happen so put any discontent to one side.

And finally, Akqayid

There has been a third bid for He Who Must Not Been Named.

Don't know the amount, don't know what the reaction has been. Harry made aware bout am hour ago. My source told me about 3 minutes ago - A&C/mods know my source.

Don't know anymore fellas.
Talk about this snippet can go into the players thread.

A few reminders

Modric chat into one of the existing threads please

Twitter into it's own thread

No spam

Mrs A&C isn't the tightest in the snatch department, but it really dawned on me yesterday when we went for a walk in the woods. She was desperate for a pee so I told her to hang on to the railings, squat over the side of the bridge and pee in the river. She gets herself positioned and she calls out to me "I cant pee here, there's someone's canoe down there". So I shouted back "That's not a canoe you silly bint, that's your reflection!"

SC needs your help! Do you sit on here spamming the life out of the thread? Is this the first thing you log onto when you get to work in the mornings? Then please help us keep it going by making a donation!

EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

I bet this thread reaches 45 pages.

Also, good news about Pav IMO if JTG is correct.

Pav doesn't get me excited but as new striker would

funny how we've had no ITK n a new centre half which is a position that we are supposedly targeting according to 'arry

We'll sign a striker within 2 days, I can feel it in Mrs A&C's snatch.

I think the next two weeks have to be big for us in this transfer window. I'm a bit concerned we haven't got rid of many of the fringe players but if we can have a few out and a couple in by 1st August I'll be happy.

Let's hope this week sees the likes of Gio, Keane and Hutton on the move. At least interest seems to be increasing in some of these players.

I'm now at the stage where I get more excited about the ITK regarding players leaving. Only then will the merry-go-round really begin.

I don't think DL will sanction any big striker moves until at least one of our current lot is off the wage bill.

I agree, and going by the snippets of ITK and the paper talk it does seem that DL is working hard to pull off a few signings (ooer missus) and that other clubs are starting to negotiate with us for our players.

I'm still remaining optimistic for the moment.

Shall we just save this post as a template and post it every Monday until september?

looks like it will all kick off this week with the Tevez sale

I think you could be right, I think alot of clubs may have been waiting for City to make there move. Augero will join once Tevez goes. Then we shall probably see what Juve will do with regards to Rossi.

Tevez going to Brazil is really bad news for us imo.

Had he stayed in Europe it wold have freed up another striker on the merry-go-round which we may have had a chance of signing, eventually!

Well, City will be replacing him with Aguero probably so that will start the ball rolling

Probably better for us that things get crystallised sooner rather than later, though. Otherwise we risk ending up with nothing. I'm with the theory that this will have a domino effect, and we'll soon kniow who we realistically can go after.

All the big teams going out of the Copa America may also kick the window into action a bit. Quite alot of the big names will now be able to complete deals (Tevez, Aguero, Sanchez, Falcao(maybe)) which will hopefully set the ball rolling.

I imagine we'll be pushing hard on Diarra/Parker this week now that Sandro is out for three months. Or we could just keep Palacios.
