Good morning ITKer's, yesterday was, well, rather extraordinary wasn't it?

I had to interview three girls for a position in the office,they all got asked the same question;

If you found a twenty pound note on the floow, what would you do with it?

1st girl says: I would ask aroiund to see who had dropped it

2nd girl says: I would check if it was missing from petty cash.

3rd girl says: I would see if anyone was looking and keep it myself.

Who got the job?

The one with the big tits

A few bits of ITK to bring you and we're wading straight in with peanut

No.
So that's that.

Then POTL agreed when he said

No cryptic? I'm sure he actually meant to say something like red and yellow, the squirrel is hungry and the fountain overflows

Rebrab on Modric

Been told over and over again that we will not sell Modric.

That still stands. Would have to be one hell of a bid and would also need Luka to hand in a transfer request (which he won't).

We've got one year to get ourselves up there basically. But he won't go this summer.
Wahey!

Then peanut on Modric

We will make him stay. Gone right down in my estimation though (as a person, still an incredible player).
Wahey

Lets remember this 'story' was in the Daily Mail.

Yes, the Daily fucking Mail. The paper which printed a story made up by 2 Spurs fans about us signing 2 Norwegian players who don't even exist!

The paper which is universally known for consistenly lifting articles from the interweb and printing complete and utter bullshit.

Yet still there was much wetting of panties. Fucking cissies.

In other news:

My wife puts my piling on of four stones down to the contentment of a happy marriage.

It's more to do with shagging a bird who works in Greggs

ANd the Times say that Alex McLeish, the new Aston Villa manager, is monitoring Scotland right-back Alan Hutton, who did not feature for Tottenham at the end of last season.

See you on Monday. :adios:

Enjoying the Transfer Window? Does our coverage of ITK give you the horn? Well, we have introduced horn tax. Please donate to the site to settle your bill, thank you!

Im first! great round up
Until IOMLS sees it whence it will be consigned to the dustbin of history. Not the best first post btw.

BTW the odds of today's thread staying free of Modric debate remain the same as yesterday. i.e. nil.

The more i think about the article, the more i think it is absolute bull shit. It goes totally against what Modric has said in the past. Now im just waiting to be proved right!

i hope the whole modric affair now shocks DL and HR into realising that the continued signing of 'squad players' is no good when your first eleven begins to disappear - we need to be targeting nailed on first team starters in our transfer policy - that sends the clearest message to our best players and not only that improves our team

its no surprise that we have difficulties in attracting world class talent when we target players to pad out the squad and arse go for benzema/gervinho manure sneider chelski modric citeh anyone they like

we need to be more obvious and bold in our ambition

There's an 'interview' with him in the Daily Mail saying he wants to join Chelsea.

which top class players are going to want to sign for us other than the likes of Parker, if players like Modric (and probably VDV and Bale to follow) want to go.

I honestly don't think hel go but for the first time I'm distraught I never loved berba I had the feeling he'd go I never liked keane that much I loved JD....I liked carrick but went in love with him like I am luka!

I feel betrayed I honestly thought the lil dude was a loyal magician I went to bed feeling sick last night thought I'd ate something dodgy but no it's just Lukas broke my heart!

I honestly used to laugh when people got so attached to players but sorry guys I see how you can be!

Only 4 things will make up for this ever

Marko Marin
Christian Eriksen
A new striker
A new stadium

Hopefully the club will release a statement later

Well let's just say we believe the story for a minute. Could it be Harry/Spurs have not convinced Modric that we will be making signings that will take us back into the CL next season. I wouldn't blame him one bit, I can't see any of us staying in a relationship that's got no future. Berba did it and he's got a PL medal and as much as I didn't like the fact he left us but can anyone really blame him?

he doesn't actually say that in the article though, its just the daily mail saying he does.

He does say the time is right to look for another club, he says he wants to stay in London, he says he wants to win championships and he says that Chelsea are challenging for the championship.

But Rebrab and Peanut are both saying he'll stay so it looks like at least one more year, or a massive bid ill be needed to change our minds.
