Only because you, like others set your expectations too high

Just a note for anyone submitting this for the Read Only. We've been asked not to include it in there but thank you for thinking to do it.

Very happy Trippier has signed a new contract but I was under the impression that he had already signed a new contract a couple of months ago . A clear example of the Mandela effect https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_memory.

My memory is clearly playing tricks on me. I can't even remember where I parked my hoverbike last night :(.

My good friend met Pau Lopez this morning in Jakarta (Espanyol had a pre-season match against a local club in Indonesia). When my good friend asks about his future at Spurs, he replied ”Maybe not this year”

How good would it be if Barkley deal can be done quickly so he could join preseason tour

It would be incredibly good - but I'm not holding my breath.

We are price sensitive and thus tend to draw out transfers, and it's in Everton's interest to make us wait - you add them together it tells you that the most likely scenario is a deal late in the window, regrettably

I feel that Poch wants him in quick to settle in, this is why we're seeing this movement.

Really ball is in Everton's court. He's clearly off, not included in the tour and Koeman has publically said he wants him sold. Only ever a matter of how long Everton want to wait before agreeing to let him out. I imagine Koeman is pushing to get access to the funds as well.
