People need to stop getting too high and too low when these snippets of ITK break. It's underwhelming but not a suprise. Have to see what occurs in the next few days.

Even if we get 3 players to address the needs that's good enough. Barkley & 2 other reasonably good outfielder players does improve our squad from last season.
We have been told by other ITKs that not to expect big signings. So, why is this latest ITK any surprise ?

Levy squeezing every last penny out of the club then...

We don't have enough squad depth. We need reinforcements ffs.
Part of me is intrigued by the prospect of JJ's Italian weather report but the sceptic in me wouldn't be surprised if the only 1st team signing we try and make is Barkley. I really wouldn't be surprised if we end up with KWP as our second choice right back. We are off to the US on Wednesday for pre season and it seems we are in no hurry to sign anyone. Part of me expects to end the summer window loosing out on Barkley over fees and only signing Pau as 3rd choice GK. I hope I'm wrong, after all, who knows what that little bald guy is thinking.

Relax. Try to think of yourself cooling off in a beautiful blue oasis in the desert, surrounded by blooming flowers and nymphs pirouetting elegantly to your favourite song as a welcomed gentle breeze gently blows across your brow as if delivered by the Gods themselves.

If the window shut right now we'd still have one of the best squads not only in England, but in Europe. I liked Walker a lot, but as has been discussed over and over, he had advantages and disadvantages over Trippier. It's not as if we've been left with Alan Hutton, the [this comment has been removed for implying that he sniffed stuff he definitely didn't sniff].

Trippier is a great player, and I think he has huge potential. His crossing ability is very impressive, and with player like Kane and Alli in the team that's a pretty massive plus. Him signing a new deal is nothing but good news. Thanks to our resident Spurs.Com website updater for the early tip off!

This is a season where inaction speaks volumes. It means Alderweireld, Alli, Kane, Dier, and our repertory of great players aren't fleeing for the escape route. We won't be splashing fortunes on players when we have a new stadium to build, but we could still add to our midfield with a talented but underachieving player like Barkely.

That's not a bad window at all. A top two team losing their most inconsistent player (as much as I liked him) and nothing else, is definitely not a bad window.

Now smile and enjoy the summer you miserable fucks!

Be somekinda statement though. The only club to not buy

Tbh I wouldn't be too bothered if we didn't. I'd be happy to see us look to the academy again and make other teams look silly with their expensive players who don't perform as well

We don't really need much either.

If we get in a good attacking midfielder that would do just fine. Barkley seems the obvious player and with Lamela coming back we suddenly have Lamela and Barkley available before having to resort to Sissoko!

Asses KWP this pre season and see if we need another RB or not. If we also manage to pick up a player like Sancho then that's just a big bonus for the future.

Hertyid:

I really don't think we are going to do much business this summer. It's very quiet.

To everyone throwing the toys out of the pram over this, it doesn't mean that we will do nothing.

At the moment it means Hertyid isn't hearing much, but if leaks are kept quiet then that's what I would be expecting.

Just wait and see. It's all we can do.

I genuinely saw Stoof once. Another forum member pointed him out to me when we were in the Bell. He was heading inside, clearly intimidated by overall aura and smart casual streetz schazayum.

I thought you were banned, you embarrassingly incorrect and abusive lovely bloke that everyone wants to continue to be on the forum despite being, well...y'know...I'll just leave it to you to fill in the blanks, insult me about stuff I've not actually commented on, and get banned again almost immediately because that's just the kind of person you obviously are.

Anyway? :woot:

You can say hi. I'm not as much of a massive bell end as I might make myself out to be. Apparently.
