I think its really positive ITK but nowhere did it say "done" (I try my best not to use that word in ITK). As you say, done is when its signed, sealed and announced and as we all ought to know, "done" is a dangerous word to be throwing around in an electronic age of hissyfitting, minge kicking-in and the putting of heads in ovens :D

'The Goat has hear that deal for Michy Batshuayi has been agreed and that everything will be wrapped up after the French cup final'

Maybe its the word 'agreed' which made me (and others) think it was closer than maybe it is. Apologies if that's the case.

But on the other hand all ITK has to have an implicit heath warning until it says 'done' on OS and the player starts a match

A&C you should know that this early in the window that technicalities such as a deal 'actually being remotely possible' let alone being 'done' means diddly squat in here :shifty:

We haven't even reached the 'cryptic ITK', 'XYZ goodnight', 'we are working our way through our target list but it's tough', or the classic (and my personal favourite) 'it's Levytime' phases yet, slow down man!

We all know how this story ends, the bald knome always seems to shuffle out of August with more cash in his pockets than he started with and we will always need a striker o_O:D

I think it's best to always accept the ITK, take it in, and understand that all things can change rather quickly and simply be thankful for the information. It's really easy to get caught up in the ITK and take it as bond or overreact, but as Willian taught us (many times over), it's always best to stay on that fence that doesn't let you get too high or too low.

This Public Service Announcement was brought to you by Snarfalicious.

This reminds me of when I was young and living in a small remote community. One day before the annual outdoor concert of local bands, everybody started saying that David Bowie was coming to town. Even the local biweekly news wrote in big letters David DONE! We all started printing Bowie on t-shirts and chatting about which number he would be in the lineup. He had to come after the local fiddle champion, surely. He had won the fiddle contest twice in a row, last year against actual fiddle players. But the most important thing, it was Done Done Done.

We passed around a VHS of his best performances, debated his height and announced random stats about him, even if we'd never consider him anywhere near good enough for our taste before he was linked with us. Was he right or left handed? Could he play drums AND guitar? At the same time?

We were furious when the day came and he played for our rival town, the town across the valley who always dressed in red and had a French mayor. But to our big surprise Dave from up the creek came to the concert wearing a new bow tie. A blue and yellow one, the first bow tie we had seen. Yeah, he had gotten it a few weeks earlier and told Martha, the one with bad hearing, that Dave and the Bow tie was all done for the concert.

In as much as I know he's dead (low resale value) and ineligible for the Champions League making him a risky purchase.

Think of the shirt sales though. Levy would get right on that.

Back to ITK, we heard after the Newcastle match that Eriksen would get competition. Have we been linked with any AMs that could fill his role? I don't think Schurrle is a direct competitor for Eriksen.

Lallana linked by one of the red tops but cannot see that one happening as he will command big fee and big wages. Haven't seen any other AM's linked either in press or via ITK
