Yesterday we had "busy day" ITK. Eat less blue smarties.
This happens every year it's like gambling, you want as much ITK as possible so igi says we have good news today and everybody somehow interprets good as "FUCKING AMAZING" news today and then get disappointed when its winksy signing a new deal. I imagine if I was ITK i'd think why the fuck do I bother.

Think we need to expect a lot of contracts for the overall squad, it won't be a Dele, Eriksen, Kane contract everyday. What it will tell us is, who is in the staffs plans and who isn't.

for every day igi post good news I'll be happy to hear any player (barr Sissoko) has signed a new contract, because it will be a good day.

the worrying day is if igi post a bad day, then I'd be expecting Sissoko to be signing a new contract, or a player being sold.

keep making us happy @igijedi even if 50% are over expectant (y)

Things are suspiciously quiet. Reminds me of my youth fishing for carp. Nothing for hours, days and nights even, then the screeching pitch of bite alarms and rising bobbins. A fumble for the reel, a snatching at the rods and sometimes something heavy on the end of the line. The catch was euphoric, but only because of the terrible wait.

Apparently KB spoke at length with the staff and gaffa. He wanted to know his chances of making it with us. We were honest, and believed it was too much of a good opportunity for him to turn down. And if he really progresses to the level he believes he is capable, we would sign him. There are all sorts of conditions his new club had to agree to.

Same will apply if certain of our very young professionals end up in similar clubs.

Hopefully that means a buy back clause. Tons of big clubs use them with their youth players would only be smart if we did the same.
