I want martial but what's his value. He's a bit part player so that makes him £30m max. In the other hand he's young with loads of potential that cist man u about £50m, so that makes him worth £70m.

I don't think Forth is considered a first team buy at this stage, so I can see a further three on top of him

He's for development whereas I take it Poch wants to add '4' to the existing 1st team squad with other potential signings being direct replacements for any departures.

Martial will be an excellent signing but I think it's a bit far fetched and I'm sure his brother/cousin? anyway his mouth piece has stated he wants to stay and fight for his place. I just hope Manure aren't playing us and the only way I see this being genuine is if we've given Rose the green light to bugger off.

Personally, i would not be happy swapping Rose for Martial, that would leave us with 3 full backs in total. I am not sure were the Shaw stuff is coming from, but even if we did add him to the deal, he is awfully injury prone and very unfit. I dont see how getting him would be an upgrade. Rose is one of the best left backs in the world, i realise his behaviour is a little bipolar, but i still wouldnt want to sell him, and if we did, i certainly wouldnt want to sell him to an english club.

If you figure a way to land Martial, who to me is the perfect fit for what we need (outside attacker with pure finishing technique), makes me think Aurier is even more realistic. That would be a bunch of really strong French players on Spurs.

This is the guy I've wanted since our 19m was turned down a few years back. Has every skill we desire and is a put your head down and grind type of guy.

Rose wouldn't leave until we have a replacement - pure assumption but it seems we operate that way when a player wants out.

Just a thought, we're all interpreting Hercules' ITK about a transfer being a possible goer, after being a no-go, in relation to players we've recently been linked with i.e. this summer.

But maybe it's an older link? What about Isco? He would certainly be a "gamechanger", in every sense. Certainly more than Martial IMHO.

We were all over him last summer but he wouldn't come. Maybe he's changed his mind. Bale has apparently been told he's the future of RM and is fit. And Asensio looks special, so maybe it's time for Isco to re-evaluate his options, especially in a World Cup year?

If Woodward and Levy are talking then Martial is for sale, now it's just down to the price. This is where Levy can be both frustrating and genius in equal measure.

He will try to squeeze every bit of value from the negotiation and will also be prepared to walk away without that perceived value being met. Leaving us again short of that pacy wide player we've missed for the last few years (N'Jie and N'Koudou not included).

Wages shouldn't be an issue, our pay structure is well publicised (thanks Danny) and his agent still wants to talk.

Barkley and Martial could take us above the net spend threshold but I don't believe we'll see outgoings because of this. Sanchez, Barkley and Martial and we very well could win the league, come the fuck on

We've reached that point where the combo of a signing and the ITK has pushed all previous scepticism to the background. Seems to happen every summer. In previous ITK threads we'd have had plenty of comments of 'not gonna happen', 'not a chance', 'don't do it to yourself' and plenty of optimistic ratings going around. Not anymore. Yesterday was the tipping point. What a day (bit jizz stained for my liking though) and then we have Martial ITK over night.
This place has reached tipping point. It's mental, and fun and I love it.

1. September will be interesting. We'll either see mass suicide once all the hopes and dreams are shattered, or a BSODL pride like parade.
