The one's in talks for new contracts or the one's that have just signed new ones?
I agree with your point in general. I just think it's a surprisingly high number for a developing prospect. If it was for the finished product, that's a different matter. If they're super pissed off they can try and negotiate a new contract. If we don't buy anyone or offer anyone new any kind of decent wages in case we upset someone else in the squad it's going to be very hard to move forward in the current climate.
I read that with an Obi Wan Kenobi voice and totally bought it.Hertyid's latest post is a little surprising given the apparent crescendo that was building!
Perhaps the Poch / Fergie comparisons will be borne out this summer and we'll see the likes of KWP / Winks / Onomah / Edwards etc will be the squad players we're looking for? Risky but would be as exciting in many ways as having a bench full of Ross Barkley's.
Possibly this was what he was posting about yesterdaykeep pressing F5 to check whether @igijedi has posted or not
Sounds a bit quick...
Why would we do that?I read the ITK as not announcing Barkley deal, but merely announcing/leaking to media that his demands are not 150k a week.
It isn'tPossibly this was what he was posting about yesterday
Agreed. We've had it proven time and again that the club is unconcerned with media speculation. Why would we do that?
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I'll shut up.It wasn't.

Slow start? The season hasn't even started yet!Well JJ has obviously squashed the Barkley wanting 150k a week stories this morning and with Breezer saying it took a step forward the other night, maybe this one is closer to being done than we thought. Personally really hope so, he would be a good way to kick things off and make up for our slow start.
Camera walks down the center aisle, showing all the players, then gets to the last seat, a man is reading yesterday's Mirror, he puts the paper down, and it's Ross giving the thumbs up.Plus we can do a great/lame twitter video announcement of everyone on the plane, then, oh it's Barkley!
Aha. I guess that's where we disagree. Not really considered a developing prospect.
He'll rip that World Cup apart! Be seeing you Lalana! He has more caps for england than kane. Not really considered a developing prospect.
