well if there was any clue in the cryptic which I'm sure mentioned an old link earlier, we was linked with Mata back in 2011 before he signed with Chelsea

Genuinely think this is the most complete answer for the cryptic and probably the right one. Though it is also probably among the least sexy and least likely to impact the first team of those we've been linked too. Of course that doesn't mean we won't come in and be absolute fire.

What if it just means one signing in within 10 days?
If it takes 10 days to get something concrete (I appreciate ITKs will keep us up to date along the way) then this place will either implode or collapse due to contagious nervous stress.
