You don't think we're short up front? I haven't seen much of Clinton but Son isn't really a striker.
It's not ideal. Let's just see eh?

It's not a good day for us, but before we go to hard into Levy just remember who he is and what he's done to our club.
Remember where we were before he took over (in 11 years, we only finished 3 times in the top half of the table). He did an amazing job here and he's a great chairman. He has his flaws but he's done us a world of good.
We have it every year apparently, but never use it.
I don't think they do in all scenarios, like mystical omniscient beings. They're human too. Certainly in general your point probably holds true, but loads of people were calling out how stupid the Fazio and Stambouli signings were this time last year, and lo and behold they have been discarded (one sold, and one not considered for the first team squad) within a year. They knew better than the football pros in that instance, because if the football pros had foreknowledge of what would happen to Fazio/Stambouli this summer then they wouldn't have bought them last summer. By your logic the Oakland A's should never have used the sabremetrics system that brought them so much success because it was introduced to them by people who weren't at all baseball pros. You can have an opinion. That doesn't mean it is right, or can't be countered. Why do people constantly confuse these two things. You can say whatever the fuck you like, but ultimately someone else with a more-informed opinion can you shoot you down - and surely you believe that the football professionals know more than you? Don't you? Do you genuinely think you know better? Really?
Yep...that is definitely what will happen, however you've missed the bit where levy urinates all over the fans from a helicopter swooping round the Lane.In addition to Lloris leaving next summer, I would assume Kane will want to as well after playing likely 40-50 games throughout the season if he is lucky to stay healthy. The goodwill he has toward Spurs can quickly change when put in a situation like that. Really, they are jeopardizing his career. Why would any promising 21 year old want to be run into the ground?
If they both leave, have to think Eriksen and Vertonghen are probably not far behind.
