It's a question of whether it's the egg or the chick first. We can't buy unless we sell some; and yet Levy has been asking unrealistic prices and thus nobody wants to buy from us. I know he is a successful businessman, but you can only win so many times. I think we will in the end lost most of the 17millions spent on Bentley. If he had accepted the reported 10 or 11 millions other teams had offered over the last few windows, we would have been much better off. Now I think Bentley will not command a 6 million fee; and he has been on the wage bill for the last 18 months for doing nothing at all.

Dn013 just sent me quite a lengthy personal message regarding his itk, he obviously believes his info and has gone to great lengths to try to win me over. I guess allwe can do is wait and see.

He's not a WUM, he's a member on another Spurs forum that I'm on so I'm sure his info is genuine.

Buck offers 35m for Modric and then Modric hands in a transfer request - nothing we could do at that point.

Why? Does 35 million buy the rights to the word 'No'? Meaning that we need Chelski's permission to use it?

I honestly don't believe Chelsea will get Modric this transfer window, but I thought it would be good to pass on information that Chelsea have not stopped their interest.
