Lavezzi's apparently a great player - but does he 'fit' into a team that already has Bale/VdV/Lennon? Or would he be a replacement for someone?

I gather he is Tevez-like: small, energetic, feisty - and a tad 'tricky'

Signing Lavezzi would be MASSIVE.
I think Lennon would be 2nd choice, either wing

It's definitely not apparent to me............headless chicken comes to mind when I have watched him.

lavezzi is a WING Forward and lennon is a wide midfielder so it would depend on the system we were playing.

and for the other question, of course he would fit in because we dont have any wing forwards apart from bale who would probably be excellent there. (please dont try to say VDV is one)

I don't like seeing VDV in Lennon's role, and luckily Harry sees his best position as our second striker.
Lennon needs the competition.

Lennon ain't one,Bale as you rightly say could be but we haven't seen him playing that position and I totally agree with you about VDV..........he ain't one.

I wonder what with Lukaku looking likely to join Chelsea whether this means they will try to offload one of Anelka or Kalou and if they try to add one as a sweetener in a new Modric bid.

Just a thought...

He is the most overated player I have seen.

Re BAE info................I'm not sure where PSG came up as the suggestion, (offer in for...) but i would have thought it would more likely be Liverpool, as they are absolutely wanting to sign a 1st choice left back.

Really not sure why any of you would sell him, He not perfect by any means, But as LB,s go, he is a pretty decent one. who has improved. Realistically who would replace him with? I do mean realistically, not just who you think is better, but who we could actually get and is an improvement?
IMO it would be pretty silly to sell him.

With a growing amount of strong evidence, Will common sense , now prevail regarding the unlikelihood of Adebayor coming to Spurs?...not looking promising

Will common sense ever prevail regarding Leandro? It seems not...or will this wild theory of the new 5 year contract, he has just signed, is actually just a ploy to get round 3rd party ownership, so we can sign him, even though the club still only own 70% of him?......It seems so

With a growing amount of strong evidence, Will common sense prevail regarding the highly unlikeness of Rossi, coming to England, let alone Spurs...NO.

Apart from a handful of poster., Goes to show, common sense is not so common.

Re The Journalist post.
"Daniel Levy likes deadline day deals and is keeping tabs on Barcelona creative midfielder Afellay, I. Loan deal is very possible and this could be Levy’s rabbit out of hat signing."

If this is the case, and the evidence grows to support this as each day goes by with no striker signing. The clearly lessons have not be learnt as previously stated. (getting 'top" 1st choice player in early rather than late)
