Vidal has signed for Juventus €10m, and they reckon to have tied up the Rossi deal by the end of the week.

Vidal for 10million euros looks like a pretty fine deal, the kind of deal that gets on your tits a bit as it seems we wernt in for him :bang:

It amazes me that I can log on here after a long day at work and see 47 pages of discussion on practically no ITK!

sorry dude, just edited the original post

Awww bollocks

Oh well..at least they can't be linked with any more strikers we're interested in.

I would have liked Rossi, but I agree with those that say he'd be problematic to fit in alongside VDV.

Vucinic or Adebayor would fit far better as far as I can see. I'm limited in what I know about Vucinic so I don't want to sound like some supposed expert..just that from what I've read and seen he looks like he could lead the line.

Rossi would be a great signing, but it would either be him upfront virtually alongside VDV, or him alongside Crouch/Pav, with VDV on the right. Not sure that would really help.

 Actually, they're still linked with Vucinic...

...but I'm sure that will cease once they've signed BupBup

I've always seen this thread as a malleable entity that uses the trickle of ITK as the corner stones, then gets increasingly developed by news updates, rumours from other forums, and the ideas/suggestions of posters.

It's effectively THE general transfer discussion thread. At this stage of the transfer window I'm not surprised it's reached so many pages.

Good thing you have the Steve update to cut to the chase if you need to now.

Parker, Lavezzi, Vucinic, Adebayor and Leandro. 65m total

Sell Hutton, Jenas, Bentley, Keane, Crouch, Defoe and Pavlyuchenko. 55m total

If we could pull off these deals we would have a seriously good squad plus will prove to Modric et al that we mean business

Lavezzi's apparently a great player - but does he 'fit' into a team that already has Bale/VdV/Lennon? Or would he be a replacement for someone?

I gather he is Tevez-like: small, energetic, feisty - and a tad 'tricky'

Harry needs to get off his knees and stop talking about modric for atleast 1 day.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the pandering but I felt he sounded positive regarding transfer activity and Levy's ambition. Hopefully we get to see some of it soon

Wow...there's a real homoerotic feel to this thread tonightEek

I saw him play at leicester last season and bar a couple of games he was brilliant, He wouldn't struggle at PL imo, he is better than walker defensively and if he is so rubbish why was he voted the best RB in the championship

Also unlike walker, he wasn't in a very good team and was strangely one of the experienced players compared to the Leicester defence which included Mee, Bruma and VAH

Good luck on getting an answer to that...I asked him why he was so keen to ditch Naughton earlier in the season. Apart from some bletherings about not pulling up tress at Leicester (which seems to contradict the opinions of Leicester fans that actually watch him), he dind't really have much to say:roll:

I tend to judge players on ability, not how much they like us.
Go and watch Chelsea away. Corluka's too slow to play his own position let alone LB.
How about the goal we conceded on Saturday where Ekotto just decided he couldn't be arsed to run any more and let their scorer saunter in and score ?

I'm sure there's been a few in between but the ball watching for Inter Milan's that got our keeper sent off and saw us 1-0 down after a few minutes was up there with his not so finest moments.

recent enough for you ?

Are you talking about the Orlando Pirates game?
If yes then BAE has surpassed even Jenas in the getting blamed for things irrationally stakes - he wasn't playing.

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK

sorry...............

...you dress in women's clothing...and hang around in brasEek

The annoying thing being that Modric said all of this about wanting to see ambition in the transfer market, and then went and whored himself to Chelsea (or allowed his represnetatives to do the same), before we'd even had a chance to buy anyone:bang:
