Here is today's ITK Discussion thread. Reposted. If the bullshit kicks off again we'll do without a thread today.

Mingewrangler was pretty effective yesterday, a few were handed out but nobody got the full wrangle. So the same applies today, with clean slates all round today but care and thought (shudder) should still be applied.

EDIT: Oh and apologies to @gibbospurs for forgetting to include this original OP, but congratulations on the birth of his new baby who I believe he is calling Ivan Trevor Kevin or ITK for short. Proper committment.

Grey Fox said he could have an update today so here's hoping. Usually find he posts mainly positive stuff so hopefully the growler cowboy has no reason to get his lassoo out of his pants today. :angelic:

Focusing on SB ITK as that is the most interesting deal atm, and prob the most important.

Aug 5th Goat says SB and his people are interested in move to THFC
Also says WBA were waiting for other clubs to show interest. THFC had however put in a deadline on completion.
August 9 Goat says SB had already completed part of medical
Aug 16 Goat says SB now "proving difficult" and other options are being explored
Aug 18 - WBA reject deal, publicly
Aug 19 we supposedly go in with a new offer
Aug 20 ???

Wonder when our deal deadline is?

Also several ITK have said that they believe or their sources believe that once triggered or moving that it will be done quickly. Fair play to WBA we need to either put up the money or move on.

Hertyid on coys:

1) Wanyama story is total rubbish but when has the Mirror ever been right about anything
2) I'm not sure what JJ context is about Evans but last I heard we were fixed in defense and we're still looking to offload one. Be very surprised if we had any interest.
3) Chicarito has been touted all over Europe the past six months but he wants regular first team football and we can't offer him that. Utd happy for him to go once they get their new forward (although Pedro deal collapse complicates things).

It's only prudent for us to have a back up to Berahino. Even if we were very confident of getting him, there are no guarantees. Especially with UTD now seemingly looking for a striker. FWIW - I think Hernandez is a decent option. He's quicker than a lot of people give him credit for and with Kane playing like Teddy Sheringham (vs Stoke), they could work well together.

It's telling that little cabbage™ has been touted all over Europe with absolutely no takers.

Wanyama was never going to happen. Obviously BS

Looking forward to The Fox's story today

Hernandez is by far the most underrated player I've seen. He has managed decent numbers FROM THE BENCH, and when given the chance at United due to injuries, he held his place well and scored every other game.

Kane, SB and Little Pea sounds absolutely killer to me, between the three of them and the amount of games we have coming they will all get fair game time.

Obviously Kane is 1st choice, but SB and Pea offer different things when teams get hard to break down. If it were between the two of them coming I'd be happy with either.

Thanks for the timeline/ info. Interesting for those of us who don't read every ITK thread every day to get us up to speed (y)

No chance we get Berahino and Pea.

think its one or the other with Clinton able to play fw/wf no need to have little Pea unless he wants to play from the bench again
