Hmmmmm sometimes I feel people like yourself like a flashy unknown new signing and see it as more exciting, which in truth it is. However both Evans and Hernandez are proven prem league performers, in fact proven trophy winners. A winning mentality is something we certainly lack. How have flashy signings from overseas worked out for us over the last two years mate?

Bender and Kramer unlikely I agree but there must have been some encouragement or I don't think we'd have invested so much time in it.

Finally we don't necessarily know who all of the targets are do we? I'm not privy to that info. You seem happy to knock out known and reported targets but who would you suggest?

I think most of us just want a player who is capable of playing in the required role and in the squad before we start the season. Not twatting around doing last minute deals three games in after dropping 5 to 8 points etc.

And where did I say flashy? You must be reading someone else's comments. I'm not a hipster looking for players that no one has heard of Ramon. I was quite comfortable with Stambouli last season because you knew he could play DM but pissed off that he arrived so late. We do this every season man. We frick around playing Ebenezer Scrooge's version of football monopoly and get royally screwed in the table while saving tuppence. Its giving me the royal shits.

if you compared Levy's last minute dot com f*cking deals with the number of points we have dropped, because we started with an unbalanced squad or missing a key player, you will probably find that they directly contributed to those 5-10 lost points at seasons end that has cost us CL millions over the last 5 years.

And who has been doing our fricken business this window. We send a fu*king delegation to Germany and they come back with sweet f*ck all. No Werner, no Kramer, no Bender. What were they doing over there anyway? Drinking schnapps and window shopping the Reeparbahn? Someone's black box needs a good rogering in my view.

I can understand wba holding out as long as possible, but he haven't even reached an agreement with them over a fee

Yet West Brom have allowed us to talk the player and his agent to sort out that side of things. Does that really sound like they have no intention of selling him to us?

With today's income from TV spending twenty five million or even thirty is hardly putting the club at risk given the fact that (i think i am right in saying) an additional forty million is on the table for each club. Or are you suggesting that Stoke City can now outspend us?

I can see your point. But, I think the club are aware of simply spending cash does not equal results. We're the best example of that with the 100 million we spent on good players a couple of seasons ago. And most of them were good players, but for whatever reason didn't work out at our club. Liverpool last season.

Also we are not privy to everything that goes on at the club.

Our biggest success stories transfer wise have been young players or people with premier league experience. And old harry was always first to say he only wants players that are better than what he has...

We're just in that awkward position between champions league and the rest.

Agree starting the season every year with än unbalanced squad trying to do late deals is frustrating, it makes you wonder if the squad had the players in place we might now have six points instead of one.

The result of not spending cash was there for all to see on Saturday when Kane had to go off. If "spending cash does not equal results" then please explain Chel$ea's success and just which left field did Man Citeh emerge from?

Wasting money is a different matter altogether and Levy is rather good at that.
