ITK went berserk yesterday in what was possibly the busiest day for snippets of the window so far.

The Goat got the ball rolling when he posted this about Cahill

This is a bit like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted but the story in today's Bolton News has clarified.
The Goat heard last week that we were way down the line to completing a deal for Cahill. The source didn't confirm which one which is why we sat on it until now

Like Harry say's we are not close to signing anyone...Eales working on the Leandro transfer which like i said before will happen but is just going to drag like the Sandro deal did. Been told even before the Modric drama over the last few days that Levy is working on a marquee signing!! Levy knows that this season is make or break for us...We are very interested in Diarra. will be him or Parker not both.

Not the way the Chavs work ........transfer dealings are kept in a very tight small circle and managed and controlled and no one would leak it in the way described by the poster so I am quite skeptical but thanks for the info all the same you never know I might be wrong!!
All I have heard is that they now think they made an error with such a low ball offer and have seriously annoyed Spurs and they are now worried that if spurs do sell it will be to another probably overseas club
