If Jordan Henderson went for 18m, then Tom Huddlestone is worth in excess of 20m.

Luis Suarez looks like a rat

Is there any player going who you couldn't claim some link to blue and yellow? I really don't know what the point of that is.

I don't know how you check past posts but if you search my posts I mentioned about hudd. His nose could be pushed out if we sign parker and keep modric and Sandro.

However he has no interest in joining sunderland or in leaving at all as it stands.

I think this is what is being refered to

Leandro will sign for us soon enough. That is pretty much done.
Levy is hopeful in signing Rossi as his big £30m+ signing. If that fails he may even go in again for Aguero, although he looks likely to go to Madrid as he has just signed a boot deal with Addidas.

I'm afraid you're going to have to expand on this mate.

Nothing to get excited by, just what was posted by Jacob in [Update 149] Jacob - Update

"Levy is hopeful in signing Rossi as his big £30m+ signing. If that fails he may even go in again for Aguero"

Not much I know, but even the faint hint of getting him and I get excited.

I can't believe we could get a guy like Rossi right now much less Aguero.

Any offer for Huddlestone over 10m should be gobbled up faster than Gran Canarian lady boy can say sucky sucky. Slow mover and slow brain in fast league, this is a cash cow (double entendre) ripe for slaughter.

I bet you thought carrick was shit and that jenas & zokora were our best ever midfield pairing... You would prob prefer a piece of shit like henderson to an actual footballer like hudd... What a cluless post.

Yes I can definitely see the arguments for having a mobile target man who offers a real goal threat ie Adebayor who would be perfect and he would be my preference and certainly a very safe bet for ticking the boxes in terms of what we need.

However Rossi could be devestating in our line up too. Yes he brings a different sort of threat and thats movement and instinct in abundance. The sort of clever runs our forwards were failing to make time and time again to open up the space for others...not to mention the poor finishing.

We lacked that clever movement up top this season and our play suffered as a result. I see Rossi offering plenty of quality movement, can link well when needed and of course the boy can finish and a lot of the time League games are decided by the one goal.

I would personally being going for Adebayor becuase I think the team dynamic probably benefits more but I wouldn't rule out Rossi making a 'hernandez' type of impact, VDV supporting ala Rooney. Hard work, great movement and intelligence can be a very potent combination up top.

In short I'll be made up with either even though they're very different, but its the calibre of either player that will improve us IMO, no matter the exact sytle of play in the final third - you play to your strengths.

I agree with BC on this. Adebayor, or someone, similar would interract better with VDV and be perfect for taking advantage of Bale and Lennon's crossing.
Rossi is a very talented player, so I don't think I would actually object to him signing, but the issue I would have is that Adebayor (or similar) would be more suited to playing in a 4-5-1 with VDV, but Rossi isn't going to come to sit on the bench.
I have seen some fanciful formations that put VDV on the right in a 1-1-2-3-4-5--6-6-6--7-7 or whatever the fook it is, and that might work. But it seems a bit odd, to me, that most folk are agreed that bringing in VDV was great last season, but it did mean altering our system into one our current crop of strikers couldn't take advantage of - so, in such a pivotal season, why get a striker that can take advantage of the 4-5-1 with VDV, only to experiment again. They also look very narrow - strange how some posters can advocate this, while stating that Liverpool's main problem has been lack of width.

How long will Brett be banned for?

Come on folks any suggestion Henderson is better than huddlestone is ridiculous. He'd win in a race that's about it. HUD has ran games for a top team. And done it In Europe on occasion. Even at un21 level he actually contributed.

It's brett. Not the busy **** of spelling, clearly.

Busier than you though......

Remind me what happens when one team scores more than the other?

It means they 'loose' yeah?
