Morning all

Only a (relatively) few more days left until the actual business end of the transfer window. If you were backing a horse and reading the form, are you really all that surprised at where we're at? It pretty much always boils down to this

Hopefully things are about to start happening, but would it really surprise anyone if we saw nothing (in or out) for another week or so?

Big day for the MM transfer saga. If he plays/starts for Villareal, it wont happen. I dont think Poch wants to bring in a player already cup tied, especially when he is prioritizing the Europa because of CL qualification.

I am, and I kinda am hoping for things to kick off soon as I have always missed the coverage when it does pick up. I always tune in wayyy too late. Yesterday sucked and was slowwwww. Kinda hope its better today(but another part of me hopes its slow and dies down soon). Does that make me a bad person? Absolutely. Do I care? Not really. I just want to see the entertainment, no matter how outrageous it is.

Well, at least I'll be watching this for another hour when I mute it and stream the Sounders game to watch our boy Yedlin(still want to know if the commitee had a say here or if it was entirely Levy. I'd like it to have been the comitee but that's probably extremely optimistic). Unfortunately, no Dempsey tonight for some reason.

Tbh we had our excitement with Raul Moat and the London riots. News has been shit since. Anyway back to itk has Levy put Theresa May in charge of getting rid of our dead wood?

The Goat is hearing that as things stand, Schneiderlin has accepted he'll be staying at Southampton for the coming season. Also that although SCBC and QPR want Townsend (who wants to stay), neither have come close to matching Levy's asking price.

Good news that, IMO. Dont need him in the slightest. Focus on our actual needs like CB and winger. Maybe even a 4th striker.

Can't help but feel if Poch was so desperate for MS we should have moved a lot quicker before they sold half their team.

More than happy for Townsend to stay. Have a feeling if he goes we might regret it in future. It's great to see our youth players like him and Kane pushing on.

Interesting ITK, Would be disappointed not to get MS as he could be a major clog in the team being able to play the tactics and playing style that Poch is trying to create.

Pretty sure if we don't get Schneiderlin this window, another club will be getting him next time around. It's likely more teams around our level or higher will have needs.
