PSG are putting a massive bid in for Mbappe (according to Sky Italia), could some money be coming their way from us to help fund it?
I was wondering that maybe, even tho highly unlikely, the latest ITK might have something to do with Mbappe going to to PSG thus allowing us to move for one of their cast offs. I doubt we could afford Draxler (although he would be the dream) but Lucas could be a solid shout. I know it's almost certainly Martial and Utd, but I just can't see that happening.

One I know of where the medical has been mostly done. Scans, med records etc, although the actual physical is still to go(not that that big a deal nowadays).
We won't have broken through as an elite top-tier club until our physicals are televised photo ops...

Draxler and Aurier earn the same wages (100k euro p week). Lucas is on 80k euro p week.
So I think we can affor Draxler. He'd probably cost less than Martial given they want to sell him

Don't they have phones ? I don't see why Levy would need to travel to France to buy a player from the French league.
Like any business deal, it's much more effective negotiating in person. A return Eurostar ticket is fuck all when compared to the size of the transfer fees. Actually, Levy would probably have PSG fund it anyway... He probably bills them for his time in six-minute increments.

Could the bit about coming at a loss be to do with losing out on someone else. Maybe we get someone else instead of Barkley for example. We may not have the money for Barkley if we have a big signing lined up.

Could the 'loss' be that we give Man Utd a free run at Sessegnon as part of a Martial deal?.
Apparently he turned liverpool down because he wanted to stay close to his family (he's only 17 of course). Not sure why he'd move to united if that was the case.

I reckon the loss would be Jansen to free up game time for martial as rotation striker as well as competing for a spot in the 3 behind. Similar to jay Rodriguez role in poch's saints squad
