A new thread for todays ITK

We're done with this Home Grown stuff now, there's nothing new to be added, its reached the stage where it's all repetitive, its something the club have sorted out since forever and they'll continue to do so.

Hopefully we'll have some more ITK today

Just skipping back a couple of days when I think it was Rebrab who said that our main midfield transfer target will leak in the next few days. Do we believe that that player is Zaha after the news broke yesterday about him wanting us?

I wouldn’t call him a midfielder

It’s so good to have the old A&C back, like an old pair of shoes. You had me worried earlier in the window.....it was all too........ ‘nice’.

Anyway, Monday to Wednesday sounds very specific for ITK, wonder if it has something to do with previous comments made repeatedly, “Building up”?

Pleased with the Grealish news. Getting twitchy though as the days count down. Sky are saying about 2 deadlines, what's that about? Will it give us more leeway to buy and sell?

I don't have sky but I'm assuming they're taking about the uk deadline and the deadline in the rest of Europe.
In regards to British clubs it means we can still sell players abroard after the British transfer deadline has ended.

European clubs kind of have us over a barrel this time around as they have longer to blink than us so to speak. The only thing working in our favour is if they don't accept a bid from an English club before our deadline passes they won't be getting anywhere near the amount clubs from the Prem will be prepared to bid.

Teams will have no other choice than to wait to sell some of their stars because the panic sets in for Euro teams long after ours, it's just a ball ache knowing that if you don't shift players who aren't going to play because you've replaced their positions in the team that it's going to not only set you back a larger transfer teams because you've shown your hand with regards to players you're prepared to sell, but if you don't sell them it'll set you back further in roughly £20m of wages combined with the ones being touted as not needed anymore

As i see it, MD and TA are away after the world cup, when back in the uk in about a week they'll probably be meeting their agents and seeing where they are heading off to, no one wants Sissoko but i imagine he might be pushed into a deal away if possible, Zaha is too much money imo, Grealish will be here soon, Llorente will probably go if we can get a buyer. can't see us getting it all done and expect some deadwood left behind, none of this is itk btw just opinion.

Which is negative for us because we have to sell and clubs abroad know that, so if we want players in we might have to risk having a bloated squad and selling abroad for a cut price fee after our window closes.

It’s looking like Janssen will be the most obvious for the door. All the others with no rumours regarding Sissoko, Nkoudou or Llorente really and with the Chinese market/ Man United stance on Martial meaning good deals for Tottenham regarding those two. It looks like a tough window for us when trying to balance certain wage or transfer fee books

There hasn't been any further information on HY's update about people being in Asia to do transfers and naming rights. I'm surprised because I would think the club would find it more difficult to control leaks if they are looking at players in the far East
