I don't think it went In the RO. It was on 12th July. Late on. Check the archive for July 11th's thread. Right at the end. HY said

"We've got people in Asia the next two weeks. Partly transfer related. Partly naming rights. Sounds like things are on the move."

Thanks. Much appreciated.

There may be no permanent offers for the deadwood, but if they go out on loan won't a portion of the wages be paid for by the club the player is loaned to? Every little helps in what seems a fairly bleak situation surely

So let me get this right...

We've gone from 150m net spend to only Grealish in because of previous poor signings?

Fucking lolz.
Exactly...if Levy was such a good businessman he would have know this as we struggle to shift the deadwood every year! So why did he give Poch assurances over signings?! Played Poch it seems...we’ve seen how Poch reacts when players BS him so what does he do when his employer fills him with shit!

Some of you need to take a chill pull. I bet you panic buy settees at DFS when they say Hurry While Stocks Last.

Take a deep breath, enjoy the sunshine and let the transfer window weave it’s merry way.

Let’s see what santa brings, and frankly if it’s nothing it’s because you’ve all been naughty boys.

How to view my posts

I give it as it comes. I share it as I hear it. Sometimes with visual evidence of player/s in our vicinities. If the sun is out I tell you. If it rains I tell you. I call it the way I see it.

And I stand by my initial optimistic posts pre-window. Circumstances dictated couple signings never happened, with one (JG) good as very almost done-Praying hands.

DL is no idiot, and I am sure he will have to bite the bullet. But when people start saying we have to sell first, what do you expect me to say? Certain things I don’t share, and I believe certain information put out can seem contradictory, that one would ask WTF!? Hence, I have to bring semblance, on things I hate doing.

I am told that regardless, we will complete 3 signings in the key areas earmarked from the onset. We will reluctantly finlians, with at least 2 transfers into Europe after our window closes, and before 31st August.

I like this post more than the previous one xx

I'm sure Poch was under no illusion we'd have to clear out players. Still plenty of time to get everything done

No need to justify yourself or put too much context to your posts, some people will like what you say, some people won’t, and different posters will look at it with different levels of scepticism. Everything you post is appreciated I’m sure, but short of using a Jedi mind trick you can’t make people infer your posts as you intend. I’d suspect that most people here are absorbing the message you’re trying to put out in the way you want it to be

I assume it’s not too early in the summer to make the standard “can’t wait for the kids to go back to school” post?

I appreciate ITK but this happens every window. People are selective about what they read, earlier ITK said poch doesnt want a big squad and talked about management of the squad which is now escalating into poch not being backed! I have every faith that the outcome will be something we can be happy with, if we keep all the players thats a start

I've seen a few people say this, and it's completely missing the point IMO. Even if we signed Zaha + a CM that Poch wants on deadline day, i'd be left disappointed.

What makes a good window is as much about when you sign players than who you actually bring in. Poch himself said that it takes months for players to settle in and so we need to get them in as early as possible. We always sign players late, never have enough time to bed them in, and drop silly points at the beginning of the season which comes back to bite us toward the season's end. We've shown no sign of learning from our mistakes so far, and time is running out to change that.

Trix has been saying we'll sign players late from day one. As you say, it's what we do.

Wages plus loan fee in some cases.

Yes he may want a small squad but im sure he expected more players out & replaced with ‘1 or 2’ quality players. As you said keeping our best players is top priority & every year I think that but this year I seem to have been caught up in the hysteria!

Let’s get something straight here. HY is not wrong. But now the club are leaking through their connections. As far as I know with more information which I dear not share, this is ALL DL’s fault! I have no agenda against him. But his games of bluff and dear is backfiring. And I warned about this when those were championing early TW closure, and believing that we (EPL) could call the shots to buying clubs-we can’t!

There is no way we will put 6/7 players in sales I’m next 2 weeks! Absolutely no way! So from HY’s info then, we are fkd!

We have to complete our incomings, and do loans, and whatever ‘risks’ are needed, they have to apply. The club bought this upon themselves, by trying to be too cute.

Very sorry; that happens to be the truth and the issue.
If this is true then we just need to be "brave" and get who we want signed, and then stomach any loss we make on outgoings.

It is total madness if we don't bring in players we need because we can't get rid of players we don't want.
