Come on dude, firstly this isn't really the thread for guessing and secondly there's very little chance of it being Tolisso anyway.

Big money mover from the Bundesliga in the central midfield position. Bayern weren’t too happy with him as he didn’t quite make the impact they were hoping. People were guessing what central midfielders we could be looking at from Germany yet nobody mentioned his name. That’s why I just asked would our fans be happy were we to splash big on him. Never mind.

What's interesting to me looking at some of the players we've had ITK with mostly Martial and Andre Gomes is that they haven't been picked by their nations world cup teams, I feel like this will favour us as they will be hungry for a move and to prove a point whilst also being well rested. Another side bit is a few others we're linked to don't have world cups; De Light, Sessegnon even Bale, I think there was ITK about Cristante too or Trix alluded to him in Jan. I wonder if this is purposeful. Poch has said he won't be watching the world cup and our ITK links so far have for the most part not been going.

Sorry to disagree, but even if Poch has said he won't be watching the WC I call that BS. What top level manager (or any level manager) won't watch the WC? That seems to me like Poch playing up to the media as he is a pro and it's his job to know who's out there and this is a showcase for everyone going to the tournament- It's a long time ago but Ricky n Ossie spring too mind.

I don't think he meant he wasn't watching the world cup. More that he wouldn't be signing anyone purely on how they perform at the world cup (like dumitrescu)

Most of the ITK we have had is in players actually not going to the WC! Hence also easier to deal with timing wise.
