I seriously can't think of a single player coming to the EPL from Seria A and being any good or not considered a flop of the top of my head. Shevchenko, Aquilani, Maccarone, Veron. I'd be wary of signing Vucinic as he's been in Italy so long it could take him awhile to adapt if he ever did at all but for a good low price he might be worth the risk. Didn't he say some rather disrespectful stuff about Tottenham afew seasons ago when we were linked to him?

Vialli, Zola, Di Canio, Di Matteo, Nicola Berti

Zola did pretty well, Bergkamp too, Vialli, Ravanelli, Di Matteo, Klinsmann second time around, Muntari, Ziege. I wouldn't call any of thos flops.

Now there aren't that many players coming over from Italy, but it doesn't mean they are bad. It is like people writing off players from the Dutch league because many flopped here, but then you still get players like Van Nistelrooy coming along.

I wouldn't be wary of Vucinic at all, he is very good. He might have said disrespectful stuff, but Roma had just finished 2nd in the league and Spurs under Ramos were crap, we'd finished 11th and he said he wanted to move to a bigger club.

I just think it doesn't really make sense to write off players just because of where they have been playing.

point taken, I was suffering from a momentary brain freeze lol

I'd still rather Ade though if it was a choice between the two

That's fine, I think I would too. But I'd be very happy with Vucinic as he is class.

just remembered the greatest ever player to come from an Italian club to an English one

James Peter Greaves

as far as Ade goes though I think he gets an unfair rap at city, he's actually scored at a good rate there, Madrid too
