Reading Sancho thread on BM which is 162 pages long, he got the hump at not being taken on the summer tour and so is playing up and didn't show up to training. Hopefully his attitude doesn't stink as his talent was being raved about until this happened.

I would not worry about his attitude. If we're signing him, it's almost for nothing except compensation to Shitty and the signing bonus to him. Should he then become a bad egg, we'll unload him for so much that Levi will have to buy a new big wheelbarrow.

If this is anything other than a tease it might be to do with the Sanchez medical that's supposedly happening today(SSN)

Maybe Sanchez will be completely confirmed today because in his announcement it did say subject to work permit and medical

Edit: load of people already said this
Could be. It was probably announced without a permit or medical to avoid a potential Willian happening again like i was being rumored

People seem to be getting a bit carried about JS and RS. They are children, literally. Great for the future but not gunna make much difference for a couple of years and no garuntee they will fulfil their potential. For every Dele Alli there's a John Bostock.

Agree totally. They are great complementary signings.

Surely it just means Rob was messing with us and @igijedi doesn't have any news today?
Good cop / Bad cop.
Rob tries nicely and with a bit of fun to get us back on topic, before...

Of course Foyth seemed close enough anyway that he could well be implied here.
Let's face it, we are unlikely to se quick movement on our big targets for a few more days yet, due to compplexities, fees and said players holding out for other clubs.

Essentially this. Although if I was a player, if there were two clubs in for me, I would prefer to go to the one that actually really wanted me.

To be honest, if he is so dead set on going to Juve that he is insisting on some sort of clause, we should just move on. We need players that want to prove something, not players that feel coming to Spurs is a punishment.

But Juve do really want him, they have said so. They just want the deal to be as cheap as possible. Lazio on the other hand want more than Juve are currently willing to pay. I just think as soon as Juve think he might end up elsewhere, they will just pay up. Can't see that happening until the back end of the window though.
