And to think I was given so much negative comments in the Yedlin when I dared to suggest that Yedlin had improved and had been impressive at Sunderland.

Well although he is young but because he is not Bentaleb so he is not capable of improving. Also as he is not one of our own, not a precious product of our academy, he need not be afforded any time. Like Njie, if he don't set the world alight the moment he stepped into our training ground, he is a flop.

I'm with you: just hoping we are going to have all the necessary deals done early and then can pounce on a Davids/VdV type deal at the end of the window.

I can't see us making any more signings in the transfer window, however much I'd like that to be true

Don't take who went to OZ as a definitive who is staying or going, it isn't. A couple that went are still available for the right fee, and of the ones that didn't travel injuries and fitness issues have held. them back.

As before, told one more in(the second "forward") and barring stumbling upon a pot of gold, that will be it.

Now for a slight bit of back tracking. My mate still thinks he will be going one way or another, but Yedlin has impressed both in the fitness tests and more importantly how far he has come in a year. He was miles behind this time last season but has improved a lot in a short space of time.

As far as the outs the numbers just don't work as far as the midfield is concerned. None of the CM's are bring actively pushed out(and none want to leave) but the fringe players know that there game time will be limited. Good offers will be accepted for all the fringe players and then it will be up to them.

Also hearing Pritch is a likely casualty now.

Is the forward player GKN? or do you mean GKN plus 1 forward?

With there being rumours that Poch doesn't rate Vorm, I wonder who if anyone we're looking at for Lloris' competition.

Yup and just the way it should be, transfer business regarding ins complete before the season starts.

Whilst we'd all love a nice surprise VDV I'm also happy if it doesn't happen.

We've got 3 premier league games before the close of the window. It would be nice to think that nothing will happen in those games that will expose glaring holes in our squad(Even with dembele out) that will require a panic buy.

Sounds good to me. How many years as fans have we witnessed transfers drag on into the last week or last day of the transfer window. Keep saying it but it's a refreshing change.

In regards to the possibility of a player picking up an injury or something untoward happening contingencys are most likely in place, bit like the bat signal going up but more likely with the silhouette of Levys bald bonce ...

I take it the squad will be trimmed now that we have nearly all of the players in that Poch wants. Selling on players will also save wages which will probably be used to give our key players bigger and better contracts.

I'm the only one who thinks we need cover for Toby. Dier should never play there,He starts at DM and shouldn't play Cup games. Seem to be the only one worried Toby doesn't get injured all season

In my view, both Carroll and Mason aren't CH. They seem to be suited to AMF.
If Ball, Winks, Ward or Onomah show the constant level performance, we purchase AMF. And if they can't, we purchase CH.
