Been thinking we need a creative CM, but if we were to sign these 4. You could move Eriksen into CM. He's been doing that recently anyway.

Are we all assuming it’s ether Sess or Pulisic but not both? Or do we think Sess is actually thought of as a WB? If it’s between the two I would much prefer Pulisic as I rate him higher.

No we will probably do two deals heading up to £60m each.
The others will be around £30m any higher we will have to be creative. Example lamela plus cash for savic (i made that up, not itk).

Isn’t the most obvious piece of creativity swapping Toby for Martial ?

If Lazio would swap Lamela for Savic I suspect we would bite their arm off and chuck in £30m.

You think ex Roma Lamela, Lamela that was seen by Roma fans as the heir to Totti, Lamela that went back to Roma during injuries, as he still had string connections there, will want to go to Lazio.

I can see why they are though. Lots of ITK on both Martial & Pullisic at the moment. Not to mention the long standing Sessengon links.

Can you really see us starting next season with Son, Dele, Moura, Eriksen, Martial/Pullisic, Sessengon & Lamela??

I got the jist, swap a player with Lazio to drop the fee. Just Lamela was not the best example to use there

Maybe, but I think we'd be letting him go just as he's about to get his mojo back. Personally, I'd rather keep him than have either of them.

Leave it. I made the original point and said it had no basis in reality just an example. Nothing to see.

We really don't need anymore attacking midfielders. Maybe a striker back up but the priority should be a very good CM and then a Toby replacement. If we waste it on sessegnon and pulisic I'll be a tad disappointed with the club. The first signing should be a CM for a record fee (as alluded to by Herc), then hopefully the Ajax kid and then some icing on the cake in pulisic, Sess or martial.
